We stayed at Ibis Porto São João for two nights and found the location very convenient, with Uber making it easy to get around. The room was simple but very clean and had what we needed for a short stay. The garage was also easy to access. The best feature was the small mall underneath the hotel, accessible directly by a connecting staircase. It had several places to eat and a laundromat, which was especially handy during our trip. Breakfast was okay.

Over a smallish shopping mall with supermarket and cafes, and right next to IPO metro station with frequent trams to Porto's historic centre. Much cheaper then more central hotels, so offered excellent value for money.

Good place to stay in Porto

We had a really nice stay here. Good location with a shopping mall downstairs and metro stop out front. Very easy to get to the river on the metro. Big fail was no in room coffee but other then that very nice clean and comfortable despite the decor being stuck in the 90’s All in all good experience and would stay here again

Not in the center city, but the metro is next to it and 10 minutes or so and your in the center city. Very clean and there is a food court and grocery store in the same building. I would stay there again

The hotel is strategically located next to a train stop and a shopping center. If you are looking for a good-budget hotel, this might be your option. It's not in the center of the tourist areas, however, you can get to the touristy places in 10 minutes. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Excelent front desk person Mss Daniela, she was very helpfull and cordial. Also good housekeeping on our floor, helpfull. Shopping Galerry is extreamly helpfull as it was raining all times.

Location was absolutely perfect, though access to it may seem a bit tricky. It is located on top of a mini Shopping Mall so plenty of options for meals are easily found. Location is also pretty easy to locate if you are arriving via the Metro do Porto. Breakfast was freshly done everyday with plenty of options to have for the first thing in the morning. The Rooms were small yet they did their job correctly, one side note there was no water bottles in the room so youd have to buy one in the snack bar in the hotel lobby or to the supermarket outside the hotel. The Staff was absolutely brilliant ready to help with any needs you may require.

It is very good hotel location and very easy to get the train rstop to go the city center. My stay include my family and frineds are satisfied at the IBIS HOTEL. But I would like to suggest to the manager of this hotel that the shower booth should have the curtain or sliding door to prevent the water spread over or flood in the toilt. It is not convenience to do shower freely due to above reason.

Great location if you have business at the University of hospital. Very friendly staff and great, great breakfast. Basic amenities for those who need a room mainly to sleep in. Missed a gym but found ample running trails. Would stay there again for sure.

Breakfast, wifi, and access to public transit make Ibis São Joao a great place to stay. The free onsite parking is a bonus. There’s a controlled access gate where you call Ibis reception to let you into the parking lot. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a shopping mall. The parking is on the 2nd level too along with hotel reception.
