Loved our stay at Hotel Grande Rio, the staff was super responsive and helpful. The view was great and the beds comfortable. It was very quiet at night and walkable to the downtown Porto! Overall excellent value for the price. Will return.

The staff were wonderful! But they only clean the room and change the towels every 3 days. In addition, the room had some serious mold and mildew. It was very noticeable and our entire room was damp most of the time - we tried turning on the AC but there was no dehumidifier option. The pillows were also flat pads. I would go back if the mold issue was addressed just because of how friendly the staff is.

Great stay

We had a great time here even though just staying for 1 night. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The only downside I would say is that our booking said King size bed, but we received a double. Highly recommend a visit.

Our stay at this hotel had both positives and a few drawbacks. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was quite convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The hotel also seems to have been recently remodeled, which was a nice touch. However, the rooms were not very spacious, and the bedding felt quite old and could use an upgrade. One challenge we faced was the absence of an elevator, so carrying luggage up two floors was a bit inconvenient. While the pricing is reasonable for what’s offered, we would likely consider other options for our next stay.

Great value for money

The Hotel is only a few hundred meters from the Marques Metro station. The hotel has well appointed rooms with cable TV and am en suite.The staff are friendly and helpful and can provide suggestions on what to do andcwhere to go overall great value for money.

Bel emplacement central avec le métro mais parking plein : il faut penser à réserver et ce n’est pas possible via expédia :( Personnel des plus accueillant avec explications claires pour aller dans le centre (2 stations de métros) Un bémol sur les prises pour recharger les portables : 2 prises électriques dans la chambre trois personnes placées au même endroit + une dans la salle de bain : pas très pratique !
