I was in a dorm of 6 women and it was lovely, with a city view from the balcony. The location is perfect for all the sights. The whole hostel was incredibly clean, and the checkin was straightforward and easy. The breakfast was an actual breakfast with a variety of fruit, cereals, breads, meat, cheese, and eggs. Nicer than many HOTEL breakfasts I've had. The staff was friendly and helpful and the building itself is charming. I appreciated the locked boxes for each bed and that the beds were assigned. Everyone was friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming which you'd expect in Portugal but they really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The room was good and the location is second to none as you can explore the city from there and have excellent transport system in a 2 minute walk in case you'd like to see the surroundings. Breakfast was really good with plenty of fresh food everyday. However, the wall is too thin, so you can hear everything from other rooms. My room was in front of the restroom, so I heard everything while other people are using bathroom. Common areas are open only 7:30am-11pm, that was inconvenient. TV is needed in the private room. The WiFi is never strong enough. Sehr süß eingerichtet, altes schön erhaltenes Mauerwerk (natürlich auch aufgrund der Lage Lautstärke/Dämmung nicht vorhanden) daher Oropacks mitnehmen ;) ansonsten alles top! Fica próximo ao mercado Ferreira Borges, Estação de Trem São Bento e a Ribeira (onibus hop on hop off, barcos, e principais atrações da cidade).
