Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. I stayed here by myself to attend a wedding nearby. The staff were lovely and friendly, room was great, as were the facilities such as the pool and the gym. The restaurant also does a tremendous breakfast.

Staff were not very hospitable to non Portuguese visitors . Shower was Luke warm if it got warm at all.
Had a cockroach in the bed on the final night …

We stayed at sister hotel “Casa Brasileira” for 8 days during rainy season…. And loved it so much we aré already planning our next stay.
We feel Pedras do Patacho is perfect for younger, cool people. As concierge understood we were hoping for a different vive - they suggested we transfer to their sister hotel and we LOVED it
Both Pedras and Casa Brasileira share:
-The most amazing staff and customer service: everyone is kind, proactive- and not on your face.
-High-end decor (each in their own style: one hip and cool; one warm “old fazenda” charm
-perfect bed: soooo comfy
-high end linens and plates and details you don’t even imagine. Sip coffee on design fine china cup. Breakfast served on fun and fancy Tania Bulhoes plates. Soap tray. Water bottle next to bed. Lamp…. Wherever you look you discover something special
- be prepared to gain weight as you get tempted with the most delicious cafe da manha, and cha da tarde
- great food
