Welcome to my home in St. John’s! Upon arrival, you will be met with an eclectic but welcoming array of art and concert posters from a lifetime of being in bands and having many artist friends. It is a modern three-story condo/townhome built in 2020, masquerading as a Victorian with a dash of 70s overtones! My friend just helped me outfit the whole thing with comfortable decorations, plants, a box of tea selections, and even my Mom’s vintage stoneware dish set in the kitchen. There is an open floor plan on the second level, a gas fireplace in the living room and a second-floor balcony. My friend is helping me run it and is less than a mile away if you need anything. My house is also less than a mile from downtown St. John’s, an adorable part of Portland that has not been gentrified (yet), and Cathedral Park, a lovely park underneath the gothic St. John’s bridge, and a 7-minute drive across the bridge to Forest Park’s trailheads. It is also only about a 15-minute drive from the airport. Across the street is one of the best taco stands I’ve ever experienced, called Coyote Taco Truck. I’m also 1/3 of a mile from a Fred Meyer and about 1/2 mile from a New Seasons market. As far as parking goes, I don’t have a dedicated driveway, but there is free street parking available, usually within 1-3 car lengths of my front door. I did short-term rentals of a room in my house in Salt Lake City and loved it. This is my first time renting out this property in Portland and I’m looking forward to it.
