Pleasant and quiet cottage on a bluff overlooking Lake Erie. Nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable. We spent six nights: enjoyed reading and relaxing while looking out over the lake. We will stay again the next time we visit family in the area.

Beautiful place! Rained all weekend but the Fisherman’s cottage was cozy and comfortable for the four of us.It is a little bit of a drive to nicer restaurants. But that would not deter me from going back again. Thoroughly enjoyed the space.

Sweet little spot overlooking the lake

We loved our time at this cozy cottage. It was clean and modern with lots of snuggly spots to enjoy the views of Lake Erie. It was the perfect location for exploring Chautauqua county’s many picturesque towns and villages, both along Lake Erie and into Lake Chautauqua.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

Very comfortable cottage with a great view of the lake. Cold weather prevented full enjoyment of the outside deck, but enclosed porch and well-thought out interior still made this an excellent choice without being weather-dependent. Perfect spot to rest and recharge - I look forward to returning!

What a find!!

After reading the other reviews, we booked this cottage and boy did it deliver! Amazing views, a hammock, firepit, and a perfect sun porch for reading, that we will return to enjoy in warmer weather. Inside, everything has been thought of and we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog, as well. Julie was attentive and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. You will not be disappointed so book it already!pup

Wow, just WOW!

A friend and I stayed at this cottage for a one night. Upon opening the door we immediately knew we made the right choice. This older cottage has been remodeled and appointed exquisitely. The owner has an eye for detail and made sure the small cottage had special extras for the guests. This rental really stands out compared to others I have seen in the area. I will stay here again when in the area and recommend it to my friends.

Weekend Erie Trip

We liked the house, it fit our needs for our plans in Erie. The sunset views over the lake were spectacular. Very clean, Julie was a fast with email replies and communication. The gas fireplace on Friday night was nice while overlooking the lake in the evening. Breakfast was easy in the kitchen both mornings, it had everything we needed for the 3 of us. Well thought out layout and a lot of attention to details. My daughter loved soaking in the huge bathtub Saturday night. Sitting on the front porch looking out over the lake with coffee in the morning is a treat. We spent Saturday on the Isle, paddleboarding, kayaking, local Meadery was great. For us, just sitting on the beach and talking, catching up is important. We used the firepit to cook our Saturday night meal, we brought our own cast iron cookware and then sat around it afterwards. Checkout was easy with very clear instructions.
