It is a perfect blend of city life and woodland serenity. From your private patio, you can enjoy the enchantment of the forest. Spring and summer there are boulders covered with emerald green moss and flowers blooming, fall is vibrant with maple leaves everywhere, winter has its snow and frost. Just imagine sitting on a large mossy boulder engrossed in a good book, or swinging on an adult-sized swing and feeling like a carefree child again. Turn on the patio party lights and invite your friends over for a delightful dinner outdoors, sit by a crackling fire roasting marshmallows. After dinner, take a short walk up the path, located just above the driveway, to the lookout over Oregon City This gem is inside Waterboard Park, just above historic Oregon City (which won the 2018 Great American Main Street Award!). A garden path leads you to your private entrance. The living room has comfortable chairs perfect for curling up with a good book or watching your favorite show. If you’re into cooking or barbecuing, the kitchen is well stocked to get you started, including a convection oven and a full-size refrigerator. The inside was super nice, clean and very comfortable. Kitchen supplies and appliances were great. Lighting was good. Also, inside was an amazing stone wall! The accommodations were beautiful, spacious, clean, secure, and well appointed. The gardens and grounds were magnificent and provided a lovely setting for us to play outside with our grandchildren and have all our family meals. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and professional. The kitchen and bathroom have recently been re-done. The decor is tasteful and is more spacious than the pictures make it look. This is the perfect peaceful getaway. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and happily provided any additional house/kitchen supplies we desired. They were kind and available while still giving us privacy. The backyard has a perfect patio and swing with views of the trees and forested area. The ideal place to watch the leaves turn during the fall. The place is a 10-15 minute walk from quaint downtown Oregon City and about a 30-minute drive from the city of Portland. There is a short hiking trail right off the driveway that is lovely for a stroll. We loved it and would absolutely book again! ##### Madeline E. Tucked away in the woods but easy to get to many other places. Great public transport and a very friendly, helpful community. Very comfortable and stylish accommodation. Lovely hosts.
