Walk to it all! Updated Victorian home in prime location in Northwest Portland, just a few blocks from 23rd Ave! This newly updated home features 3 bedrooms (plus 4th sleeping area in living room), 2 full bathrooms, living room, formal dining room, oversized gourmet kitchen, and private back patio off kitchen. Plenty of space to sleep up to 8 people and is perfect for entertaining and hosting groups/family gatherings. Includes parking spot! The main floor has two bedrooms, full bathroom, gourmet fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, and spacious living room with original pocket doors and sleeper sofa to create a "fourth" private sleeping area. Original hardwood floors throughout the entire house! The oversize, newly updated kitchen features high end appliances, large granite island and French doors that lead onto a spacious, private deck with outdoor furniture. The house was recently remodeled to include an updated kitchen and bathrooms along with a new furnace and plumbing, so you'll get all the comforts of the new and charm of the old! Window AC units provide in warmer months. The upstairs includes a spacious primary bedroom suite with king bed, full bathroom with claw foot tub plus tile shower, living area with couch, large closet, washer/dryer, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and French doors that lead onto its own private balcony. Private parking spot included! There is a driveway for parking (we can provide parking passes if you have more than one car) but a car is not necessarily needed in this urban neighborhood! There is also a studio apartment below plus condo units next door if you need more units! This house is located in a prime, highly desirable location close to it all! It's just a few blocks from NW 23rd Avenue (near Thurman) featuring retail boutiques, home design shops both local and well-known, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, coffee shops, antiques, galleries, parks and hiking trails (just blocks from Forest Park). It is very close to the street car for quick access to the Pearl District (also within walking distance), Willamette River and Downtown. The house is located on a quiet dead-end street with lots of street parking plus a path at end of street for direct access to Thurman where the coffee shops, eateries and boutiques begin. This was an amazing house to stay in during my daughter's wedding! The house was extremely charming with plenty of space for three families to find areas to spread out and chill. The beds were super cozy and the neighborhood lovely. My cousin rented a place next door and we really enjoyed our morning walks to The Dragonfly for coffee. The house was a perfect distance from the wedding at Hoyt and receptoon at Great Notion. The host included so many extras like coffee and cream and popcorn! There is creamer in fridge for your first coffee, if you come too late to pick up some food. We had groceries delivered, which was also easy. The house is on a road that dead ends, so it is not on a busy road. It has historic architecture, but does not feel old; it is very comfortable, and quiet. The renter was very communicative and accommodating when we made a mistake on when we were checking out. ##### Mabelle H. It is everything the listing says and more. It has character, history, and comfort. We particularly enjoyed the creaking floors as we thought of all the people who have walked around the 100+ year old house. It is tucked in amongst apartments and condos but is a remarkably quiet neighborhood. It happened to be quite nice and warm when we were there so we spent time outside on the back deck. Quite lovely! Our New Yorker enjoyed getting coffee each morning from different coffee shops and they were all great. We walked to the Fillmore Trattoria for dinner one night and to St Honore and Besaw's for breakfast. We also just hung out and played games and streamed movies. We hope to return to this little gem in Uptown Portland. ##### Jan B.
