Great place in the country

Great place in quiet rural setting w/ lots of room for the whole family. Property is very clean and well maintained. Not super close to any stores, but not too far. Would stay here again.

We were in the middle of selling our home and purchasing our forever home, in addition to our kids beginning school, so we need close and convenient to Portage. We also have 2 dogs so we also needed dog friendly. This place fit the bill perfectly! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!!

Skiing Retreat

We spent time skiing at Cascade Mt. (20 min away). This house was great for the seven of us to spend time resting and playing games and music and enjoying each others company. Would rent again. Enjoyed brunch as nearby Broadway diner in Baraboo and Pizza from Sal's in Portage.

Great location and charm

We had a comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The house was spotless, cozy and comfortable. I was with a group of friends who drove in and some flew in from Dane County Regional Airport. It was close to get to the Interstate and airport. The beds were comfortable. There were multiple rooms with comfortable furniture. Thank you!

Relaxing getaway with wonderful views

We rented the farmhouse because it allowed for our dog to accompany us. What a wonderful surprise on arrival. The views were incredible. I attended the Madison Quilt show and the Farmhouse was just a quick 45 minutes from the show and 20 minutes from our Son and his family. Gas Grill, large home, dog friendly, 3 season room, fire pit and plenty of deer and wild life. We spoke with Terry the guest contact and she was very helpful. We had no issues just a couple of questions. We are already looking forward to another trip to the Farm house.

Awesome Stay!

We had a great time at this little farmhouse. It was exactly what we needed for a family stay with people coming in from 3 different states. The history of the house in the welcome book was especially interesting and we had a lot of great walks around the property. It was close enough that we were able to spend a day in the Dells and still be able to get back to make sure the pup got out to go potty in time. The only thing I would note is that the secondary booking management firm that you have to go through for booking is horribly rude if anything goes wrong in the process and their communication is garbage. I can’t say the same for the owners of this house though because they were exceptionally wonderful people and answered every single text we sent. I wouldn’t hold it against the family for the rudeness of the call center people.

Cozy New Years Stay
