Once we got into the house, things went alright. However, the address is not compatible with Apple or Google Maps, both of which tried to navigate us to an impenetrable hillside. Turned out there was an unmarked gravel road to access the property that wasn’t made clear in the listing or communication. I received multiple messages that were supposed to have a code to get inside, but none actually included a code and I had to request it specifically. The code I received, and information about where the lockbox with the key would be, were completely incorrect. I was told the lockbox was on the garage across from the front door, but the property has no garage on site. Thankfully, the number for the property management company was included in a message and I was able to call. That person had some trouble but was eventually able to provide a completely different code (from digits to format) and I could access the key in the lockbox I found. Inside was mostly as advertised. The bathroom smelled like mildew and had a dehumidifier that didn’t seem to work. The hot tub was quite nice.
