About this property
Directly on the water overlooking the US Navy fleet. Private boat launch.
We have a Spectacular home directly on the beach that we would like to share with you. It includes gourmet kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, barbecue, and even its own private boat launch. There is plenty of yard to have a gathering. Sit by a campfire on the beach or enjoy a glass of wine in your private hot tub, overlooking the US Navy fleet of battleships. One of a kind place. Summer Kayak Rentals- we have 3 singles for $50 each. You have access to the entire house. We do have a few cupboards with our personals in there that will are labeled. A House Manual will be available to you when you get there. It will be located on the counter giving you all the information you need from internet info, to how to work the hot tub. There is a cleaning fee of $100,and a security deposit of $200 which is not charged to your account. The $200 is charged if we file an incident report. For example, if something major has been broken during your stay and needs to be replaced. Or, if we need to drain the hot tub due to broken glass or things of that nature. The guest agreement has all house rules listed, for example where to leave all used towels, as well as washing all dishes that has been used. We will be doing ALL cleaning except for the dishes, that's why we ask of you to please do those before leaving the home. If there is a huge pile of dishes, we will have to charge the $200, which is also in your guest agreement. Feel free to contact me for clarification. We also send you the front door code the morning of check in. Some things to know: We have a holding tank for our potable water, so we do ask each guest to be mindful of water usage. The driveway can be steep for a certain people, so you have to be careful getting in and out of the driveway. The house is on a main road, so in the house you can hear the cars driving by

We had a wonderful time at this property and the owners made it extra special for our anniversary. The waterfront location was spectacular! Very private, but close to everything in Port Orchard. Highly recommend for any occasion! We will be returning!
This property is excellent and we had an amazing stay. The location, view, and amenities are all great. Really a unique place as it is right on the water and basically without neighbors, which made relaxing easy (not a walkable location, though, if that matters to you). Highly recommend for a place to unwind! 5 stars :)
Wonderful home to relax and unwind in. The view is stunning. The house is so clean and homey. Looking forward to staying again. So many personal touches.
I can’t say enough about this home 😊
Sweet spot, with a cozy feel. Hot tub nestled on the deck with a sweeping water view. Cocktails and cribbage while watching seals perfect. Kitchen had everything needed. Comfy beds. A great get away.
After reading the number of 5 star reviews of the property, I had to see what the high ratings were all about. We were not disappointed in the least. Great place to stay and treat as a home base while discovering the islands off of Seattle!
Our second time here. I just love that the house i positioned parially on the water! This visit with higher tides you can hear the water more underneath the house. Very clean as before, a nice stock of kitchen stuff. Used the hot tub in this cooler weather. Watched a seal munch away on a fish for quite some time. Just over all chill place to go.
My husband and I spent 6 enjoyable days at this waterfront property. This older house has been beautifully updated, and is very comfortable. There are a few “quirks” and accommodations for guests to deal with like not overloading the electrical system and navigating a very abruptly steep driveway from the busy road above the house. The hot tub is marvelous- the largest and highest quality I have ever seen in a VRBO.
We stayed for a week while exploring the area- a great ‘home base’. The space was as advertised and past vacationers accurately identified the few items to be aware of- the driveway and traffic noise. We really appreciated the all the amenities.
Spectacular views from the deck of the sunrises/sunsets. We loved being on the water with the tandem kayak. Rachel and Jim were very responsive and helpful. We’d come back again for sure.
So pleasant. We hung out for three days in solitude and decompressed. Beds, furniture very comfortable. The hot tub was fabulous. Bottle of wine and some snacks very appreciated. Mornings spent sipping our lattes and watching the water/boats/seagulls/seals. Lots of restaurants in nearby Bremerton or Port Orchard. Easy to get to Safeway also. Easy to communicate with the hosts.
This was our first time staying here, and it was a good experience. House is very well kept, clean, no strong cleaning product smells in case you are sensitive to that. Could not get any closer to the water as you are literally on the water! Saw eagles, seals, and lots of seagulls feasting on clams, that is very entertaining. Our week there was very hot weather which we enjoyed out on the deck. I will say though that it was a bit rough at night for us as there is no AC in the house. Enjoyed the hot tub in the cooler times of the morning and night. Also really enjoyed the National Anthem being played out over the water by the Navy. Overall a very nice time.
We had a great stay at the property. The interior of the house is beautiful. The location is nice but the driveway is a nightmare. The trees & bushes along the road need to be cut back so that you can see traffic coming down the road. The angle of the driveway makes it quite difficult to get in & out of. The yard areas of the property do not look anything like the photos in the listing. There is no green grass, just dead grass & weeds. However, the view across the water to Bremerton is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching all of the wildlife everyday.
On our last day we got a message from the host letting us know that check out was at 12pm but that they would be arriving at 10am to do some yard work. I thought that it was strange that they didn’t actually ask us what time we were planning on checking out but just said they’d be there at 10am. We decided to leave earlier than we had planned because we didn’t want to have the hosts there when we were still in the house. It seemed a little strange that they couldn’t wait 2 hours to do whatever yard work they had planned.
Overall our stay was great. We didn’t mind the traffic noise as it was minimal at night. We enjoyed exploring the areas around Port Orchard.
This was our third stay at Rachel house. I have to mention the view is wonderful, being right on the water is fantastic for watching wildlife. Rachel is a top notch host, the house was decorated for Valentines day and she left out some little treats. I'd recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in the area.
Beautiful home. Our daughter moved up there in March from Texas we had a beautiful Christmas with her in this home . We so enjoyed our stayThe view was amazing every morning to wake up to. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner of Seafood gumbo.we will book this home again.
The host had the fans and everything going for us, it was a warmer day when we checked in. The view is indescribable and amazing to be that close to the water rain or shine. Wonderful amenities and clean! Close to the marina and downtown and beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved our stay!
