For example Padstow, Tintagel, Fowey, Mevagissey, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens are all comfortably within an hour's drive. We arrived on 4 July - which was the start of the 'unlocking' post Coronavirus - so Port Isaac was not quite as busy as it may have been normally and not everything was fully open but we were able to eat out on 3 evenings .
