Spend your vacation in Florida in our little paradise under palms, where sea eagles and turtles are still found! Welcome to our new "Splendid View" Villa, so called because of the view that you'll have from our property and pool in every direction! Our house is situated right on a water crossing with access (with a rental boat) from our own dock to the Myakka river and then to Charlotte Harbour and the Gulf of Mexico. For boat riders, there are public docking areas all over. If you are looking for a palm lined, peaceful and quiet stay with your own pool and a truly comfortable house environment on the one hand and close to beaches and shopping on the other, then you will come to the right place! Our villa is peacefully situated in verdant scenery with no direct neighbours and very low traffic. Similarly, all shopping and leisure facilities, as well as several different beaches, can be reached quickly. Our villa, built with the newest standards in 2014, has a floor area of 183 sq.m (1,966 sq.ft) including garage. The property is 1,000 sq.m (0.23 acres) in size. The house contains a foyer, a living room with dining area, a den with a sofa bed, and three bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed and direct pool access and the guest bedrooms with a queen-size bed each. There are two bathrooms; the master bathroom has a walk-in Roman shower and the guest bathroom has direct pool access. The fully-equipped, open-concept kitchen contains an oven, electric stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, and other kitchen appliances, as well as a granite counter top with bar stools. The laundry room has a washer, dryer, iron, ironing table and beach towels, as well as a double garage with remote control for the garage door. With its tray ceilings up to 5 metres tall in the foyer, living room, den, and master bedroom, as well as the open concept design, our villa looks very spacious. From almost everywhere in the house sliding glass doors lead to the pool and the waterway beyond. The floor of the entire house is tiled. The cobbled pool terrace is protected from insects with a large pool cage and has ceiling ventilation and variable evening lighting. Also, there is an additional open-air terrace (patio). Our beautiful salt water pool has solar heating and a small waterfall, as well as LED lighting with changing colours, and an outdoor shower and a pool cover for the 'winter' months. There is also an electric grill, a large dining table with six chairs and two layers. From our private boat dock you can take a rental boat all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, or just go fishing. Full-HD flatscreen TVs with satellite connections and more than 190 channels can be found in the large living room, the den, and the master bedroom. The house contains modern air conditioning, Starlink Wi-Fi, smoke detectors, lighting with dimmers and nice ceiling fans. The entire villa is for the exclusive use of guests. You can reach us by e-mail. Further correspondence then either continues with us, or with our house keeper, who lives nearby. On site, our house keeper will give you all the necessary information about the house and will be your contact person in case of any problems. With the most beautiful beaches of Florida, namely those along the Gulf of Mexico, it is perfect for swimming, snorkelling, collecting shells and fossilized shark teeth, as well as going on long walks. In 30-45 minutes you'll reach the fantastic beaches of Boca Grande, Englewood, Manasota Key, Venice, Nokomis and Siesta Key with its snow-white Siesta Beach and the quartz sand, which has been chosen several times as the best beach in the USA. Our house is located between the quaint cities of Port Charlotte, North Port and Englewood, which offer great shopping facilities and restaurants. All best known large shops are located nearby, especially in the new Cocoplum Village, just 10 minutes away in North Port, or in the nearby Port Charlotte Town Center, which has a large cinema. The thermal waters of Warm Mineral Springs are also located nearby. Golfers will get their money's worth at nearby and exclusive Riverwood Golfclub, among others. Sarasota is just 45 minutes away with its marina and the exclusive St. Armands Circle, as well as the new University Town Center. Just a little further on you will reach the Outlet Shops in Ellenton. After an 1 hour drive south to Fort Myers you will find the Gulf Coast Town Center and the Miromar Outlets. After 1 1/2 hours north you will reach Tampa with Busch Gardens. Or after 2 1/2 hours you can be in Disney World, Sea World or Universal Studios in Orlando. You can park your car in our double garage or on the driveway. Our house is furnished for six guests. . We rent our Florida villa in the peak season from Januar until March only for full months. Pets are unfortunately not allowed! Smoking is only allowed outside of the house and pool area. The house was amazing. Walking in the front door we were greeted with high ceilings, updated furniture and a great view of the pool area and water front canal. Our stay centered around the solar heated salt water pool. The pool overlooks the water front canal at the intersection of 2 canals giving an large view of the water. Our stay was for the month of April and the solar pool heater worked great. By mid-afternoon, the pool water had heated up to 86/88 degrees each day. The pool pump motor happen to fail during our stay, but it was replaced/repaired the next day. I still cannot believe that it got repaired so quick! Big thanks to the owner/local contact! Eating our meals at the pool deck table was like eating at the best seat at a waterfront restaurant. Hence, the local restaurants did not get a lot business from us. There were plenty of fish to catch in the canal behind the house. Most were catfish of very good size. There were many other fish jumping about. Our favorite beach in Florida/US is Siesta Key and we went there several times (1 hour drive away). We also visited Manasota Key Beach (30 min drive) many times. Manasota Key is noted for finding shark teeth. We also catch several fish there. The house was well equipped and everything worked perfect. We hope to rent this house again in the future. ##### James K. The view from the pool/lanai is the best I have ever seen in the last 40 years of renting villas. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would require. There is a double garage where the owner has a car stowed, however this did not cause any problems, as there was ample room for two cars. The nearest neighbour was 500 yards away, so no noise from them. Like I said if you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The bed in the main room was very springy which disturbed your partner with every movement. These next comments are not meant to put people off renting this villa, but for the owners to improve their accommodation for future renters. The villa has three bedroom, which could hold at least six guest, however there were only two sun beds next to the pool and because they had no cushions they were very uncomfortable. The pool had steps leading in, however a handrail would have been very useful, especially for older guests, my wife and I fell in a couple of times getting in and out. The property only has satellite TV and Internet. Both of these were the worst I have ever come across. The selection of TV channels and the picture lag were dreadful, making the TV almost redundant. I hope these remarks do not put future guests off, equally I hope the owner looks at my comments to improve his beautiful villa. ##### Malcolm B. In the last 25 years of renting vacation homes in S.W Florida this one has to have been the best !!! The owners are really nice and their onsite contact is great too.Beautiful, quiet and private location and yet it is only 5/10 minute drive to all the stores you will ever need.The property itself is to a high standard and has everything you would expect and more. Exceptionally clean and very well laid out. Great pride has been taken in this lovely home.Nature is everywhere, from the fishing dock we saw a small gator, 4 foot shark tons of lovely coloured birds.Walking the neighbourhood we came across Tortoises everyday.Many thanks to our hosts Frank and Ute. We will certainly return again and again as this place is SUPERB. Pool area is fantastic, complete with BBQ and views to the intersecting canals. Our questions were answered promptly by the property manager and the location was really convenient to everything we wanted to do while still being very private. I have something’s to point out however are not deterrence to stay here again. Traveled with my 3 month old and almost 2 year old grand children and there was not anything at the property for this age group, portable crib or high chair. The master king mattress needs an update, very uncomfortable and squeaky, the queens in the other rooms are great though. We stayed at the house for two weeks at the beginning of November 2022\. The house is lovely, the photos don’t do justice! It was immaculate, spacious, everything you need! The kitchen is very well equipped. The view is fantastic, we enjoyed sunrise every morning, the pool and outside area is private and so nice and the pool was cleaned weekly. We absolutely loved it and definitely will come back! Mike who is looking after the house was in contact during our stay to make sure we have everything we need. Overall can’t fault it! Placed in a very calm and secluded part of town with no interruption and full comfort. The only problem is the false advertising with the "heated" pool. A normal heated pool is heated by a dedicated boiler so it is warm 365 days a year, and this property has a solar heated pool, so any day that the sun don't shine, you're out of luck. Other than that, quite nice overall. Also, the Wifi is probably the cheapest option they could get to save some extra $$ because it's not very fast at all. ##### Martin W. Alleine der traumhaft schöne Ausblick auf den Kanal, den wir jeden Morgen beim Frühstück auf der geräumigen Terrasse ausgiebig ausgekostet haben, ist unbezahlbar. Wir konnten mehrmals einen Alligator im Kanal sichten, Wahnsinn! Das Haus befindet sich in einem ausgezeichneten, sauberen Zustand und es ist alles da was man braucht!!! Auch die sympathische Betreuung während des Aufenthalts von Michael war ausgezeichnet. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus ist einfach schön und besticht durch seine Lage am Wasser. Alligatoren konnten wir nicht beobachten, jedoch haben wir einmal einen Delfin gesehen. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir die gleichmäßige Klimatisierung des gesamten Hauses bei den subtropischen Temperaturen draußen, so dass man sehr angenehm schlafen konnte. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, von reichlicher Küchenausstattung über Handtüchern bis hin zu Gewürzen. Verwalter Michael kann man bei Fragen jederzeit kontaktieren und bekommt unmittelbar eine Antwort. Während Hurrikan Debby, den wir miterleben mussten (nur im Randbereich), den Steg und die Straße unter Wasser setzte, waren wir froh, es uns in so einem großen Haus gemütlich machen zu können. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Alle nötigen Informationen kamen unaufgefordert und ließen keine Fragen offen. Die Beschreibung des Objekts ist sehr ausführlich und enthält auch wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir konnten uns vorab ein gutes Bild machen - alles traf hundertprozentig zu. Wir danken und können das Haus sehr empfehlen! ##### Wiebke H.
