Can update the hotel a lot. Room curtains are not clean & not hung properly. The lace curtains were terrible. But the all the Staff are so good.

Andaman is a beautiful place to be and it’s super safe too.. and on top of that people are very nice and polite.. so scenic beauty, fresh air and with good people around you, one can’t ask for more.. the welcom by itc, this property is very well Located and the ocean view from our room made it Look more beautiful, one gets the ocean in the background from swimming pool too.. so rooms were nice, breakfast area was rather smaller for its reputation, but no complaints.. staff and their service is really nice.. the entire island is a treat for city people..

We liked the services provided by the staff. All were very helpful from check in to check out. Particular mention should be done for the staff at the Bayleaf Cafe: executive chef Javed, and his assistants Saurav and Suresh. Pranjali and Anima helped us in printing out our plane tickets.

This property was very nice in location and the view of the sea very beautiful. I was surprised that the power went off a fair few times but came back on quickly. Geeta at the Travel Desk was awesome and extremely helpful in every way.

Best location in Port Blair, Needs improvement

I think this is the best location to stay in Port Blair by a large margin, with excellent views and a quiet area without traffic. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the cleanliness level of the bedding though. Also, they don't give enough towels etc by default and you have to ask the staff to fix this. In house restaurant and bar are just fine. Amaya rooftop bar/restaurant in Seashell resort next door is the best place to eat in all of Port Blair.

Stayed at ITC Welcomhotel, Port Blair, for 2 nights. The staff was nice and service was on time, but the overall experience was disappointing. We were first given Room 104, which had a clogged bathroom drain. Got shifted to Room 112 – cleaner, but no view at all, even though the adjacent rooms had a great view. We asked for a better room, but nothing was available. Amenities were very basic. The bar felt dead – I went twice and didn’t see a single guest there. Funny enough, I met other guests from the hotel at the SeaShell rooftop – seems like everyone was looking for a better vibe. Later I stayed at Symphony Samudra and met people who had cancelled their Welcomhotel stay to move there. This was my second visit to the Andamans, and honestly, this hotel didn’t live up to the expectations. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great Hotel!

The hotel overall is great in terms of location, service, comfort. It is one of the best in town. However, I would request the hotel to renovate their bathrooms. It will be definitely recommended from me to everyone.
