We’re only a short drive (8-10 mins) to downtown Port Angeles, where you’ll find charming restaurants, coffee shops, and local stores. The property also makes a great base for exploring Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge and the ferry to Victoria, B.C.

There are just a few things to note prior to booking your stay at Ridgeline Retreat:

• The area is home to bears, coyotes, hawks, eagles, insects, and neighboring dogs and cats—awareness of wildlife and neighbors is needed and all are to be respected.
• It is our utmost priority to keep the home clean and comfortable. We regularly spray the perimeter of the home with organic insecticides, but please keep in mind you are staying in a natural setting where wildlife is part of the experience. Some wildlife may enter the home despite our efforts.
• Wild and unruly parties are absolutely prohibited.
• We take extra measures to sanitize ALL beddings (including pillows) with enhanced steam sanitation between each guest.
• Your safety matters. The property is monitored by Ring doorbell security cameras and recording devices at the front entrance, front garage, garage side door, and back garden doors for security purposes. Rest assured that the cameras do not look into interior spaces or the hot tub area, as we respect your safety and privacy.
• Check-in is flexible anytime after 4PM.
• To help maintain a peaceful and respectful stay for everyone, we kindly ask that all house rules be followed. In the event of any complaints related to disruptive noise, unregistered guests, or violations of our home policies, the reservation may be subject to cancellation.

Fire Safety & Open Flame Policy — Please Read Carefully

Ridgeline Retreat is situated in a natural wooded environment where fire risk is a serious concern, particularly during dry seasons. For the safety of all guests, neighbors, and the surrounding ecosystem, the following fire-related rules are strictly enforced:
    •    Fireplaces (indoor & outdoor): By choosing to use any indoor or outdoor fireplace on the property, the guest accepts full responsibility for all risks, damages, injuries — including but not limited to death — or losses that may result. The host shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, fire-related damages, or property loss arising from the operation or misuse of any fireplace. Use is strictly at the guest's own risk.
    •    Liquid fire starters are strictly prohibited per local county and fire regulations.
    •    Fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and any pyrotechnics of any kind are strictly prohibited. This includes all consumer-grade and professional-grade devices. Fireworks are illegal in this area and pose an extreme fire hazard in our dry, wooded environment. Violations may result in immediate reservation cancellation, removal from the property, and you may be held financially liable for any and all resulting fire damage.
    •    No open burning outside of designated fireplace areas. No bonfires, burn barrels, or fire pits not already provided on the property.
    •    Always fully extinguish fires before leaving the property or going to sleep.
    •    Never leave an active fire unattended, indoors or outdoors.

Violations of any policy may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund, and you may be reported to local authorities.
