The marine animal there get rotated frequently back to the harbor so they are never kept more than a few months. Location -- very convenient, but be aware it's in commercial area between the main one-way streets through town, so kind of loud and not much of a view. The house is right in the middle of town, with a restaurant and a lounge right across the street, so you can experience some noisy people along with traffic noises at night. The owner does supply box fans, which we used after the first night to help drown out the noise. The house is listed as a 1 1/2 bath, sleeps 6 on VRBO but actually only has the 1 bath and comfortably only sleeps 5\. We stayed here while hiking Olympic National Park. I was impressed with the finishing touches. It all felt thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel very safe when we arrived. It was dark and there were some men in alleyway beside the house. I’m not sure what they were doing, but it looked questionable. They quickly left when they saw us pull in. There were other men there the next evening when we pulled in as well. They were so suspicious that we kept the kids in the car until they were out of view. Other than that, and the road noise, we really enjoyed our stay.
