"Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"La habitacion y baño estaban bien. El desayuno aunque fuese simple, estaba bien. La habitacion grande y con mucha luz. La cama cómoda y el baño con bañera y bastante bien. "What a lovely spot, our favorite of our time in Portugal. Pedro was amazing, offering help with how to use the stove, or suggesting the best hike, or speaking with the neighbor,Maria. This spot is for the natural enthusiast, someone who enjoys the mountainous views, beautiful sunsets and basketball on the terrace with your son. Thank you for an amazing stay! "

"Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well."

"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"
