"Great location and staff. Roy who runs the property was very helpful and friendly. The cabin was clean and while it was basic (as advertised) it had all the necessities and we were comfortable. It was a great camping feel with the convenience of the cabin. We were the closest cabin to the road so there was a lot of road noise at night, but all of the other cabins sat back far on the property and wouldn't have that issue. We felt very safe and comfortable. The whole property is gated and felt secure. Monteverde /Santa Elena was a very safe feeling town. Our kids played at the small community park next to the hotel with some local kids and had a great time."
