It did not disappoint us. Xavier and Elizabeth and their team are very good hosts. They run the place very efficiently. The inclusive breakfast is great and they give you many choices of both warm and cold offerings. Cereals, breads, coffee, tea, chocolate drink, omelette, boiled egg, meats, fruits. I could go on. It was great for the children. Everyday they found something different they liked to eat.This place is the only building in the immediate neighborhood but it has a bus stop and a train station right in front of it. The bus service ended by 4:00pm in the winter when the ski areas were closed and the last train from Pontresina is at 7:00pm. One has to get back to the hotel early if depending on public transport. If you have a car then no problem else you may have to take an expensive taxi. We had all our dinners at the hotel restaurant. They do have many choices and their prices are comparable to the restaurants in town. Their food is good too.They have a game room and TV room which is great for family activities in the evenings. We bought 3 day passes for the buses and train and it worked perfectly well. We used the passes to as far as Alp Grum and to Zuoz. We used them on buses to Silvaplana, buses within Saint Moritz and the different trains to many places in the Engadin.
