The farmhouse is situated at 145m altitude and offers a beautiful view out over the valley towards the sea to the east and south. To the north and west, you got the view of the Pyrenees Mountains and its foothills. It is just 20 minutes drive away from the spectacular beaches and coves of the Costa Brava, 15 km from the towns of Figueres where the Dali Museum is situated, from Banyoles with its large lake, and 25 km from Girona with its very attractive old town. Barcelona is situated 130 km south and by car, but also by train, well and quickly accessible. The farmhouse was built in 1640 on the site of a former Iberian settlement. The house is detached and surrounded by fields and forest. The nature begins thus directly outside the front door. It was renovated very loving and with natural materials. It offers all the comforts of a modern home and a homely atmosphere. The large garden, the architecture of arches and vaults and the thick stone walls takes you to a haven of peace. However, this is combined with the modern amenities. The thick stone walls ensure a pleasant coolness in the house during the summer and a welcoming warmth in winter, which can be increased by a prasseldes fire in the fireplace. The house is ideal for larger families and group,s for holidays with friends, as well as seminar stays or parties, because 17 people (max. 20) can find easily space and there are enough beds for everybody. The house includes 300m ² of living space and two floors, six spacious bedrooms, two very large living room, three bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, a separate dining room and a large hall. Both the entrance and the two living room can be transformed in each case for your seminar. All rooms have natural light and views. House facilities include a central heating, kitchen equipment, a dishwasher, a washing machine, two air conditioners, Internet (Wifi) and an outdoor pool. At approximately 2500m ² of outdoor area there are a total of three terraces, a pool, plenty of sun loungers and garden furniture for 15 people, two stone barbecues, a bench and level surface for seminar outdoor activities. Huge old oaks, partially covered terraces, but also spacious grassy areas, not only around the pool, offer many sunny and shady outdoor places, that invite you to linger and relax. 1000 flowers and aromatic fragrances will enchant you in the garden and the surrounding forest and meadow paths. The house is rented entirely. In the off season, on a daily basis, on weekends and on weekly basis. For small groups, a person price can be agreed. In high season, the rent is based exclusively on a weekly basis. Electricity, central heating, the final cleaning, bed linen, towels and internet are in the final price. On request we can organize catering for seminar groups. Otherwise, the house is for self-catering and offers ideal ways to cook together as a small group. The area offers touristic, cultural, sporting and as well as gastronomic a wealth of activities and attractions. From cycling, hiking, horse riding, motor sport etc directly from the house, over gastronomic routes at sea and to the interior, also the Pyrenees for long walks, trekking and skiing in about 50 km distance, which are visible to the north from the house and at least to numerous water and air activities such as kite surfing, surfing, diving, paragliding, water parks. 15km away is a golf course. Culturally the area offers with ancient Roman and Greek settlements, medieval towns, quaint fishing villages, museums and not at least Barcelona with its modernist buildings all sorts of interesting. Les 700m avant l’arrivée se font dans un chemin en terre très difficile d’accès. Il serait bien de le préciser. La propreté laisse fort a désirer. Le barbecue était juste degueulasse, nous avons du nettoyer les chaises de jardin avant de pouvoir se coucher sur celles qui n’étaient pas casser, et nettoyer chaque ustensile (verre, assiettes, plat…) avant de les utiliser. L’annonce précise qu’il y a la Clim mais à l’étage, là où se situe les chambre , pas possible de l’utiliser. Je pense que certaines chose sont à revoir. C’ est dommage car le logement a un très fort potentiel et est très spacieux. Il se situe dans un endroit à l’écart de tout autre logement ce qui permet une tranquillité ou à l’inverse de faire la fête sans déranger personne ##### Emilie D. Es difícil encontrar una casa en la que quepamos los 16 o 18 que somos, según las agendas, a finales de agosto. Este año escogimos Pontós porqué estaba cerca de Barcelona y nos ahorrábamos un traslado largo y a veces muy cansado. Lo hemos pasado muy bien. La casa era confortable, por la noche muy tranquila, alejada de carreteras y centros urbanos. La cocina, espaciosa, aunque com o cocinamos mucho, encontramos a faltar cuchillos que cortasen. Las habitaciones correctas, algunas muy espaciosasa y luminosas. Y las zonas comunes más que suficientes, tanto las del interior como las del exterior. Lo mejor el fresquito en el porche por las noches. Lástima de sequia, que maltrata la vegetación existente. Ah........... y la tele sólo capta cadenas alemanas. Y el fútbol es el fútbol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ##### Montse B. Das Wetter war zwar sehr bescheiden. Es hat wie aus Eimern geregnet. In Girona wurde sogar der Notstand ausgerufen. Im Haus war es jedoch angenehm warm. Am Kamin war es sogar behaglich warm. Trotz zwei Tage Regenwetter haben wir uns sehr Wohl gefühlt. Es war ausreichend Platz da, um auch mal seine Ruhe zu haben. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche haben teilweisse bis zu 5 Leute zusammen gekocht. War wirklich nett. Pasamos un fin de semana en la familia allí. La casa es grande. Éramos 10 adultos, 3 adolescentes, 3 niños y un bebé, y teníamos espacio más que suficiente. We did this either directly from the house or drove there. Within 30km there are many beautiful routes. In the house we felt very comfortable. The heating has helped. But the best we found the huge fireplace. A crackling fire in the evening has something special and creates a nice indoor climate. We would like to come back.
