Hotel has a very spacious car park and close to the city centre. Inside it was very grand with beautiful furnishings. The reception and check-in were extremely friendly and helpful….thank you Carly. Some of the bedrooms have had a major make over and we had one of these. Ginormous comfy bed and lovely modern bathroom. We also had an accessible room at the back of the hotel that meant no steps for my mother, which was a real bonus. The bar was wonderful and luxurious. Breakfast had a huge range from croissants, toast, yoghurts, fruit, cereal and of course an excellent hot breakfast. If you are visiting Birmingham centre you couldn’t ask for a better hotel.

Lovely for a one-night stop-over. Pet friendly but no dogs allowed in the eating area.

Nice grounds. Location was far from any town so we had to use Uber all the time. This increased our costs. Breakfast was pricey and not offered as part of the stay. Room had no microwave or refrigerator. Was ok for the money.

Our room was spotless, and I enjoyed the setting, but I was very disappointed when I wanted to use the pool and was asked to pay an extra £10 per person. How can a hotel guest be expected to pay to use the hotel's own pool? I have stayed in many hotels—in Scotland, Venice, Germany, Spain—and this is the first time I have ever experienced something like this. I found it to be in very poor taste and disrespectful to the guest!.On top of that, as a guest, you have to pay 24 pounds a day... I hope that in the future they don't start charging extra for taking a shower in your room.

It is on the outskirts of Gloucester, so was a great location to access the motorway. We enjoyed a good evening meal and took time to use the pool and spa. Paying for parking was the first thing you have to do, before anything and is a negative impact on check in. We had to call reception st midnight as there were people drinking ans shouting outside but they dealt with it straightaway.
