Embrace the essence of coastal living in this modern 6 br home. Directly on the beach, this home features spectacular views and plenty of space to make lasting memories. The Space: Welcome to “Sandy Cheeks”! This is a large 6 bedroom, 4 bath beach house with a game room and plenty of space for everyone. When you enter the home on the 2nd floor, you will immediately notice the bright, airy open floorplan of the living, dining, and kitchen areas. These areas have amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean from just about any vantage point. The living area has a sizeable sectional sofa wrapping around the large flat screen smart TV mounted on the wall with a fireplace\*. The dining table has seating for 8 and there is bar stool seating for 4 more at the kitchen island. The roomy kitchen features stainless appliances, gas stove-top, and plenty of kitchen gadgets needed to prep your favorite meals and drinks. The kitchen is completely stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, glasses, and anything else you will need. Just outside is the expansive oceanfront deck that overlooks the beach. The deck offers full sun exposure and has a patio table for you to enjoy some outdoor dining. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The primary suite features a welcoming king bed, smart TV, and a sitting area that looks out at the ocean. There is also private deck access from the sitting area. The primary bathroom is very spacious and features a soaking tub, separate shower, and a large double vanity with deep bowl sinks. There is also a walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is on the front side of the house but has a window view of the ocean, in addition to a private, west-facing balcony. This bedroom has a king bed. The third bedroom is a smaller room and features a twin bed and a desk for guests to use. There is also a smart TV in this room. Between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms is a Jack-n-Jill bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination. Head downstairs and you will find three more bedrooms, and a large game-room/entertainment area. The 4th bedroom is another primary suite. It features a king bed, dresser, closet, smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 5 has a queen bed. Bedroom 6 was designed with the kids in mind. It has two sets of bunk beds; one is a twin over full and the other is a full over full. There is a smart TV and bean bag seating for the kids, too! The entertainment area features a pool table with a ping-pong table topper. Pool cues, balls, and ping-pong paddles are provided. A large smart TV is surrounded by a sofa and love seat. There is a mini-bar which has bar stool seating, a mini-fridge and a microwave. We also have a table-style arcade game loaded with plenty of the video game classics. The laundry room now houses 2 sets of washer and dryers. Outside the back door is the lower-level deck area. It is about 40% covered by the deck above, providing some nice shady areas in the afternoon. The rest of the deck is open to the sun, offering a perfect place to work on your tan. The deck leads right down to the beach with very easy access. \* The garage is only available to house beach items and a grill. There is not parking available in the garage. \* The fireplace is available to guests seasonally, November to February. \*All TVs are Smart TVs with streaming capabilities. The house was as pictured, right on the beach. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms that comfortably accommodated 6 adults (3 couples). While the location and the house were amazing there were several things we encountered that took away from our vacation. This property could be perfect with better management and a few hundred extra dollars spent per month. Issues encountered:-Several inconsistencies between what the guide in the home and property management company said to me which caused confusion. A few examples include the property management company said I did not need to take out the trash to the curb on trash days, but in the guide book in the house it said I did. The guide book in the house mention how all tvs in the house had hulu. They did not have hulu or cable. I mentioned this to the property management company during my stay and there was no resolution on this.-Issues with several of the TVs. As mentioned above there was no hulu or cable. This is an inexpensive feature that I expect to have in a house of this caliber. The airplay did not work on one of the tvs.-Another review stated how the house was fully stocked. This was not the case. There was no shampoo, conditioner, body wash and only two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Overall, it was a beautiful home and a beautiful location. It was February and a bit cold, but there was so much to do inside that the weather did not faze our celebration. Very close to St Augustine so we ran into town a couple times. Also close to Publix.
