Aunt ANA's house is a small and cozy restored 2019 basaltic stone house surrounded by banana crops.

Steep but pleasant

House : very nice, but last part up very narrow and steep with possible cars coming down (..) to get there ! Nice kitchen with big fridge/freezer and shower/bathroom, TV with Netflix, separate bedroom with rather hard double bed (topper would solve that), and open 2nd big room with two simple separate beds (topper needed as well). No dish washer, but washing machine, promised Nespresso was Nescafe Dolce Gusto. What was very annoying are the 3 dogs of the neighbours barking day and night. We did enjoy very much, and Madeira is wonderful and beautiful island with many things to see and do (if you are not afraid of heights).

Typisches maderisches Steinhaus

Alles da, was man braucht, vor allem in der Küche. Die Gartengestaltung-Kunstrasen auf weißem Kies- ist nicht hübsch, aber praktisch. Toller Blick auf das Meer vom kleinen Balkon. Die hier vielfach erwähnten Hunde haben wir auch gehört, aber nicht als störend empfunden

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir haben zwei Wochen in der Casa Tiana Urlaub gemacht, es ist ein wirklich schönes, sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Haus. Der nächste Supermarkt war mit dem Auto gut in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen, ebenso verschiedene Restaurants und Cafés. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich, es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Die direkt hinter dem Haus startende Levada Nova ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen :) Wir kommen gern wieder!

Mitten im Ort dennoch ruhig

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Refugium mit fantastischem Weitblick in Südwest Lage. Es angenehm ruhig, trotz umliegender Häuser von Einheimischen. Fussläufig gibt es zwei Lebensmittelgeschäfte, eins mit angrenzender Bar, um abends auf der überdachten Terrasse noch ein zwei Ponchas zu trinken. Zu Fuss kann man ebenfalls eine kleine Taverne erreichen, und die Levada do Moinho beginnt kurz oberhalb des Häuschens an der Kirche. Um zum Strand runter zu laufen muss man etwas Zeit einplanen, besonders für den Rückweg. Bei der ersten Hinfahrt war das kleine Strässchen in unserem Navi nicht eingespeichert. Wir haben ziemlich suchen müssen. Da wäre eine genauere Anfahrtsbeschreibung hilfreich. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort oben sehr wohl gefühlt, etwas abseits vom Hauptort, trotzdem mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar.
