Ceret is everything one might want--a lack of hordes of tourists, easy access to the Mediterranean, proximity to Spain, and options and for day trips. We wanted to experience daily life France and found that here. Our hosts were wonderful--arranged to meet us on arrival, explained the operation of the various appliances in the apartment, provided us with maps and tips on restaurants and day trips, and called us the following day to make sure we were settled in without difficulty. The whole experience was wonderful and has us seriously considering returning in 2026."
