The stay was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful views, extremely helpful reception & safari staff especially Sipho was amazing- he was knowledgeable and had eagle eyes with spotting rhinos & ellies! It was an awesome stay & we could not recommend it more!

Glorious "Glamping" in a KZN Game Reserve

Africamps at White Elephant Safaris in the Pongola Game Reserve provides an exceptional land and water-based safari experience. All the staff on-site are welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable and professional, while the location is simply out of this world! The comfortable tenting accommodation is luxurious and lavish, offering breathtaking views of the luscious KwaZulu-Natal surrounds and a feeling of being oh-so-very close to nature. The spacious deck, wood-fired hot-tub / cold splash pool in the dizzying summer heat, braai facilities and large on-site swimming pool (with an extraordinarily expansive view) were all definite highlights as were the many bushveld activities on offer, especially the early-morning walking safari and sunset boat cruise on the Pongola River feeding into Jozini Dam. We enjoyed ample wildlife sightings and the birdlife was also abundant, varied and exceptional. Remember to take along binoculars! We truly relished this high-end boutique "glamping" experience par excellence and can highly recommend specifically this truly special Africamps location within the Pongola KZN Game Reserve.

Tolles Gebiet für entspannte Tage. Tolle Bootssafari mit Nashörnern, Hippos etc.. Auf dem Gelände der Anlage viele Impalas, sehr schön. Unbedingt vorher einkaufen, in der Gegend gibt es keinen Supermarkt und keinem guten Fleischar für das abendliche Grillen.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Für die Verpflegung gab es einen kleinen Kiosk mit gutem Angebot, sowie einen breakfast-Korb oder Braaikorb die ausreichend gefüllt waren. Den Pool haben wir nicht getestet 😄 sah aber sauber aus.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits exceptionnelles à Africamps. Le braaii est un vrai plus. Le cadre est magnifique et les activités proposées top. Nous avons pu profiter d'un safari en voiture et d'un safari bateau. Le personnel est top également. Nous avons pu voir les éléphants les zèbres les rhinocéros les buffles les hippos les crocodiles.... Je recommande l'expérience !

Très bel endroit avec une vue exceptionnelle. Malheureusement nous avons rencontré quelques problèmes sui ont gâché notre séjour à l’établissement. Beaucoup de cafard dans le logement et cela jusque dans le lit. Et pour couronner le tout, visite de chauve-souris dans la chambre en pleine nuit…

Absoluut mooi gelegen glamping, midden in reservaat! Minder duidelijk op voorhand is dat je al 30min rijdt van aan de gate op een dirtroad, dus niet zo makkelijk om de accomodatie te verlaten. Honesty shop heeft wel wat bieden maar zou fijn zijn als die later open is. Voor de rest alles prima en zeker aan te bevelen!

Glamping im Game Reserve

Mitten in einem Game Reserve an einem Staudamm stehen einsam diese sehr großen Zelte für bis zu 5 Personen; mit vollausgestatter Küche und - habe ich schin erwähnt? - viel Platz. Von dem großen Balkon mit Grill hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Es werden Safaris auf dem Boot angeboten! Und nicht vergessen: Essen selbst mitbringen und was schönes grillen, denn ein Restaurant gibt es nicht.

Heavon on earth

Absolutely amazing trip to destress from reality. Upon arrival into the pongola nature reserve whilst still driving to our destination we were greeted by numerous giraffe buck and warthogs. It was really amazing to see the giraffe so close. Once we got in to the cabin it was heavon. We went in peak summer so the aircons were amazing. One tip carry water and dishwashing liquid. The water was not potable ,all the water is brown even in the shower. U need water to drink and for the kettle. Cleaning services are at an extra charge however if you are going for 2 or 3 nights you dont need a clean up just dishes to wash. Bring the sunlight as the soap here is very watered down. Other than that the place is truly heavon
