We had a car. Not sure how convenient would be if only public transport to get into Nantes which is 9.2 k away.
Lovely conference hotel.
Staff fab and room lovely.
Only niggle would be only access room from 4.00 pm but you can use the pool so only little niggle.
Breakfast would be nice if set up rather than large round table where you have to get your own cutlery and food on a tray but again just a small niggle

Beautiful property with an outstanding restaurant. Service was fine, but at times, it lacked the details you’d expect from a 5 star hotel., such as taking your luggage to the room or replenishing toiletries daily. The hotel is in the outbuildings of the chateau next to it and it can be difficult to locate initially. The main access is through the golf course area which isn’t very impressive. I would return to this hotel and recommend it to friends.

The room was nice and close to the beach and boutiques. However the hotel amenities like the pool close very early.

"We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful part of the world. There is a huge amount to do in the area for all ages, with Chateau de Poncé just next door, lovely local towns and a swimming lake a short drive away. Jean was a kind and welcoming host and we even stayed an extra night. Merci beaucoup ..."
