"The property has amazing views. It was so peaceful and secluded, yet close to some beautiful waterfalls. We had a very relaxing stay."

"Our stay at Rock House was great. It's set on a beautiful 100 acre property that borders the Little Buffalo River with rock bluffs and a swimming hole. It was just minutes from Jasper and located nicely for us to explore that area of the mountains, kayak the Buffalo, and hike and explore caves and waterfalls. John, the owner made sure we had everything we needed and was very hospitable. We will definitely be back!"

"The cabin was exactly as expected, well better, but there was not any bad surprises!!! Yes there is a creek to cross to get to it but if you watch the video of the drive in you can plan accordingly as to what you think you need!The host were great, kept good communication and were super nice!! All in all a great get away!! Especially with a 6 year old, he stayed playing in the creek as much as he could. I would definitely recommend and I hope to stay again!!!"

"This place was amazing! Cabin was beautiful, clean and secluded. The property is beyond what I expected. Communication with host was great. You will not be disappointed! For a secluded cabin, deep in the woods, the amenities were plentiful. My only regret is that we did not stay longer!"

"Ridge Runners Cabin is a lovely bit of secluded… exactly what we needed for a few days away. Close to Jasper and hiking trails, it made our stay easy. We stayed downstairs the whole time, but it was spacious enough for 2 plus our senior pup. We had a rainy week, but we spent as much time as we could on the back porch as we could. The view is lovely. A few minor things:The beds are very firm and I personally didn’t find them comfortable, but someone else might! The drip tray on the stove front burner is too big, causing the burner to sit funny and it made cooking difficult. The A/C in the living room kept throwing an error code when we first arrived, but the recommendations the host left didn’t seem to work. I ended up googling and we made it work. But we were worried for a minute. If you’re looking for a place to land in between your adventures, this is a good place!"

"The setting, on a gravel road in the woods, was beautiful, quiet and private. A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it). The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. Fresh, warm homemade bread awaited us at check-in. The newer round shower was great. The loveseat was comfortable. Everything worked great. Debra responded quickly and completely to our one texted question on arrival, and was helpful with the reservation questions earlier. We plan to stay here again."
