"Beautiful and comfortable hotel in great location"

"My biggest criticism is the value. Watch out for the “amenity fee” that’s collected when you arrive (not included in the price you book). It was about $40 when we stayed. The room was fine but the public areas are small and uninviting. The pool is tiny. Also be forewarned this place is not on the beach. Free coffee in the lobby but don’t expect it to be there even one minute past 9:30. Late checkout? No problem, that will be $10 an hour. It was a good room and the staff was nice but I felt like I got nickel and dimes for everything. "

"Difficult to get a pool chair even though there is a sign that says unoccupied pool chairs will be forfeited. We saw many chairs with pool towels to which no one returned to but no staff came around to remove the towels. "

"We always choose Holiday Inn Express any chance we get, we loved the complementary breakfast! The hot tub sadly was not working, so it was just a 2nd heatless pool. But going to the beach was good enough for us, the location is great for what our trip was for and the property looks nice and its clean. The staff is amazing, will book again when I return to Hawaii"

"I came to Hawaii to relax and enjoy my vacation, but unfortunately the service I received did not reflect the level of hospitality I expected. Service was disappointing and far below the standard expected for a destination known for hospitality. Staff members were rude and management did nothing to correct situations. "
