"The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. There were two fully equipped kitchens, one inside and one outside. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for large group of people. The ground is lovely and large and in spite of the location of the property which is out of the beaten track we felt very safe. "First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. It has a fabulous pool and the views...

"This villa is perfect for a family stay, total 5 bedrooms in the main house and 1 bd/ba in a separate house. We stayed in April and our pool was heated, we enjoyed swimming even though it was cool weather. Location is very nice. 3 very good restaurants in walking distance. We were going to Cefalu quite often for lunch/dinner and beach. Huge backyard for kids to run around and play structures. 2 large outdoor tables for alfresco eating."

"This property must have the best view of Cefalu Old Town from the spacious rooftop terrace. The property was clean and tidy and well equipped with a decent fridge to keep drinks etc cold, great air con and a comfortable bed. If needed there was good Wi-Fi around the property including the outdoor spaces. Great communication from the owner leading up to and during our 2 week stay. Towels and sheets changed mid way through which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning next...

"Me and my partner had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The highlight was without a doubt the amazing terrace! Luca was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, from thoughtful touches in the apartment to helpful local recommendations. On our last day, his brother Stefano kindly looked after our luggage and even brought it to the train station for us! The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again...

"Stayed here during the first week of August when a festival was going on in the town of Cefalu. Although the party would go on until 2am, you couldn't really hear it in the rooms due to the thick glass window on the balcony doors. Great buffet breakfast and the rooms were cleaned if you asked them to be cleaned whilst we were out. We stayed in a triple, which was spacious enough. The only downside is that the shower gel/body wash wasn't topped up as we got towards the end of our stay. Stayed six nights and could honestly stay for a couple more as we enjoyed the weather, beach and the general area of the northern Sicilian coastline."

"One of the finest hotels I have stayed in. Great location close to the port and walking distance to the town. Multiple private beaches for the guests. Two great restaurants on site. Very attentive staff. It was close to the port so we rented a boat for a half day and that was very nice. Overall the best place to stay in Cefalu!"

I spent a lot of time on the rooftop terrace which was very relaxing and quiet - especially with the hot tub. It is very walkable to the town centre but out of the way enough that it isn’t loud and busy outside the hotel. Overall, I really recommend. "

"Great place to stay! Best location, It’s right in front of the Water and pretty much in the middle of everything! Staff were super nice, helpful and attentive, specially Lillo, he was AMAZING! We really enjoyed our stay and loved this place! Great job to all the staff."

"The property had all the amenities we were looking for including a great sea view common balcony to watch sunsets and enjoy a bottle of wine. We were 10 to 15 minute walk to Cefalù beach which was great! Cefalu has lots of character and certainly worth a visit. The free breakfast was very good and the kitchen fridge was stocked with beer, soda and water at very reasonable prices. Mirko was very responsive will all communications. We would definitely recommend Ma&Mi Guest House. "
