The presentation is excellent and the fireplace was stacked and ready to keep us all warm. Some of the bedrooms were a little cozy/tight for an adult couple and we missed a few kitchen utensils that we are used to. While we were a little surprised to find part of the house had been separated for the property manager who permanently resides there, we were never inconvenienced by it nor did we feel we had to tiptoe around. The views from the rear of the property included early morning hot air balloons and the miniature shetland ponies in the adjoining paddock were a welcome surprise for the kids. Upon arrival to house, we quickly were told that there was a 'care taker/winery employee' staying in the garage of the house. Whilst this never really became an issue during the stay (we still did all the things we wanted to) I feel like this is something that should be highlighted in the ad for the house, as we expected to have the entire property to ourselves.
