"The establishment is reasonably new and I would expect everything to be working well; I was not disappointed. On top of that, the staff were friendly, and knowledgeable and well presented. Continental breakfast was included with our stay and it was good quality. I paid extra for parking, and it was convenient and felt secure. The room, the though not large, was well presented and comfortable. I always take my laptop with me but there was no desk which is something I would like to see included. Otherwise, I I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. "

"Breakfast was cooked to order, fresh. Beautiful spot overlooking the water/river. Like Fremantle, the hotel is a historic building with parts showing its age; however, the rooms are large and adequately equipped, to a five-star standard. We had a relaxing stay."

"Pros: Beautiful location, right near Grant St Beach and Cottesloe Beach. Daisies Cafe just a 2 minute walk was the best cafe and such a good vibe. Lovely art deco complex. Inside has been renovated and while not super high end or perfectly maintained, was absolutely fit for purpose, clean and comfortable. Plastic blocks were appreciated as they kept my baby entertained(!) and the bed linen was lovely. Check in process simple and easy.Room for improvement: Would be nice to have a few more essential supplies in the kitchen, but not the end of the world. No views of the water from the balcony which I thought the listing indicated. A clearer section for expectations when checking out in the email (mention of putting the bins out was in the middle and we almost forgot!). Parking was on a dirty, dusty verge which got a lot of dirt in shoes and in the car.All in all, a lovely stay. Thanks for having us!"

"We had a great stay here. The home was cosy and comfortable, and the location was excellent with very convenient public transport links into Perth. The neighbourhood felt safe and friendly, which made it a really pleasant place to stay. The host was excellent, communicated clearly and was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall a fantastic experience — 5/5, we would definitely stay again."

"The room was clean but a little dated. The rooms are above two restaurants but the noise is minimally and ends at 9pm. Its right across the street from the beach. Air conditioner blows ice cold. "
