Very clean, decent size room central to the city. If you're sensitive to noise, there's a lot of street noise, the soundproofing in the room isn't great, and there were weird noises in the room that I wasn't sure was the AC or plumbing. There would be random smells of either smoke or sewage sometimes. The view wasn't great because I was on the first floor. The stay itself wasn't bad just not amazing.

I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the Sofitel never fails to impress!
Unfortunately due to an accident, we lost power, however the generator jumped into action quite quickly, With unprecedented work noise outside due to the accident, I was offered a relocation to another room, however at that time of night I asked for and was provided with earplugs. Eventually fell to sleep and slept well.
As an apology, even though it was their fault, I have been offered a free room upgrade with my next stay and you can bet your bottom dollar, I will be back!!
