This is my second time staying at this hotel. Shadow Pyramids View INN has the best views of the pyramids and the rooftop Tree Lounge allows you to eat and watch for FREE the laser light.! Staff members speak English, Spanish and Arabic. Furthermore, if you need to plan activities during your stay Ali or Shahd can easily help you find the right tours for you! If you need assistance Shadow's support staff (Fraq, Amr, &Edmit) can help with anything you need! The staff is gracious and accommodating, they can resolve any issues or problems you might have. The rooms are clean and my room a view of the pyramids, which was awesome waking up to that view. I highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely stay here again!! I stayed during Ramanda and the Tree Lounge served delicious Egyptian food with lively music and excellent hookah is available!!!

I would to thank all the staff. Hotel are rated based on the staff. They definitely make all the different. I can say I didn’t meet a single unkind person. I would always stay in this hotel great service. The place is quite and peaceful and staff are very accommodating.

So this is a charming house and the room I had was just lovely. However, there was a hiccup at check in. I was not shown around the property rather told about wifi and then told my room was upstairs. As this is an old villa, one would expect to be shown the different areas. Okay no big deal. I had to ask how to get to the small pool. When I got to the pool, I was told I could not use it. Apparently, the staff did not realize I was staying there but that is off putting. The hotel is pretty pricey. $216.00 a night so I do not want to be told I cannot use the pool. The manager tried her best to remedy the situation and I appreciate that. There is a mini bar in the room with the most ridiculous prices I have ever seen. $5.00 USD for a cookie that at best costs .25. $7.00 usd for a mini can of pringles. $13.00 for a small bag of nuts. As i was in the mood for something sweet I had a cookie from the fridge and then saw how extortionate the pricing was. To be fair, they offered to not have me pay but I insisted on paying as those are the rules. I just think in Cairo those prices are beyond ridiculous. They are more expensive than sat NYC at the 4 seasons hotel(remember this is Cairo). To put it in perspective. The cookie cost half the price of my dinner. That is really shameful and I hate that kind of greed from a mini bar. But charming hotel for sure.
