We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. The room was misding a few towels and water glasses and had no coffeemaker. The continental breakfast area had tea bags but no hot wster The fire doors that have a sign on them saying Keep shut-were never shut. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the staff were hoid.
