Had a really great and memorable stay at the Rex in Tobago.
First impressions were that it was old and seemed a little unloved. Felt that there were some areas where a little paint or maintenance around the general building and outside of the rooms would make it look a little nicer. However you cannot let any of this put you off at all. The rooms were big, comfortable and had a great sea view. The gardens and greenery was very well kept.
Personally I think you have to understand the type...

Numerous humming birds feeding on plants and feeders. Lots of other bird life including blue tailed mot mot.
Comfortable accommodation which has shutters that open, bringing you closer to flora and fauna.
Bring some food from penny savers supermarket.

We had a very nice stay at Millers. The place is in Bucco with view over the bay. The beach is a non commercial sandy beach, perfect for a swim in the morning. You can start many activities from there, like a boat trip to the Bucco reef. Places like Crown point are easy to reach. Restaurants and grocery are in walking distance. With the communal kitchen this place is perfect to stay with a small budget as you can cook yourself and do not need a car rental. You can enhance your experience buy...

If you’re looking for an authentic Trinbagonian experience, this is the spot.
Tropikist is a locally owned and run hotel and resort in Tobago, offering spectacular sea views and local creole cuisine. The kitchen also makes use of the hotel’s own vegetable garden, and the morning breakfasts and evening meals offer something for every palate.
The rooms are spacious though a little dated but think rustic, and you’ll be ok. The housekeeping is meticulous, and their COVID control measures are...

This B & B is family run and very friendly. Stein and his family couldn't have been more helpful-taking us to the bank, showing us the local beaches and shops and delivering us to the airport at the end of our stay. Our room was high tech with wireless internet, free calls to the UK and the US and even a Bose sound system. The breakfasts were huge- the amount of food I would normally eat for a main meal. The surrounding garden was beautiful.

We found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable and in a great location. We stayed on a b & b basis thought the breakfast to be of a very good standard with a range of cereal, fruit, pastries along with a selection of cooked foods plus omelettes and waffles etc to order. There were two very good restaurants on the "doorstep" of the hotel with several more within about a ten minute walk. The beach which the hotel overlooks was really nice but surprisingly quiet with about 15-20 people using...

This was our first stay at Blue Waters Inn, but it definitely won’t be the last. The welcome from reception was warm and the receptionist -Marva - walked us to our room. The room was lovely, very spacious with a kind size bed, nice shower room with lovely amenities and a balcony overlooking Batteaux Bay. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, and we were told that when the rooms are refurbished next year, there will also be a hair dryer and a fridge in each room.
