After the pool being down for renovations over the 2022 season, we are excited to announce the pool is open and looking better than ever for the 2023 season! The Plymouth Poolhouse is located conveniently near multiple local beaches, less than 10 minutes from Cape Cod, Sagamore/Bourne Bridges and 15 min from downtown Plymouth where you'll find great sights, restaurants and nightlife. Feeling lazy? No problem, kick back and enjoy a day of grilling and lounging by the beautiful inground pool! The outside patio area was made to entertain with an extra large outdoor sectional seating area under a beautiful gazebo, propane fire table, grill, lounge chairs and of course the gorgeous newly renovated in-ground pool! The Front of the home offers a large driveway that can accommodate multiple vehicles off street. Also, you will find a fenced in kids area where your child can play safely. \- 7 Minutes from cape cod canal where you can go for a nice walk or bike ride to Scusset beach or stop along the canal for some delicious seafood and great views! Watch the boats pass by! \-Visit the various beaches on or off cape cod that are conveniently located nearby! Don't worry, A book is provided to help you navigate your way to all the local beaches and about the parking provided! \- Historic Plymouth is an easy 15 minutes away where you can explore the area and learn the history of America's Hometown! The house was so beautiful and geared towards relaxing! EVERYTHING you need is there! The owner was so helpful and available the instant we had a question. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and so much fun! Even though we had overcast skies and a drizzle here and there we enjoyed it immensely and would not hesitate to go back again! Stayed 3 nights in Aug 2023 ### 2/10 Terrible #### kaitlin b. 16 Sept 2023 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Communication #### Boston trip Location good quite, pool was dirty upon arrival that was taken care of fast but then once the fire alarms started chirping and randomly going off needing batteries we called the owner off the number on the Vrbo app, called 4 times in the evening no answer went straight to voice mail, we contacted Vrbo customer support since no one wants to hear fire alarms chirping or going off all through the house especially with a child around, they tried to call as well with no answer so we went to a hotel next day didn’t hear anything called Vrbo again they got in touch with him he proceeded to say I never called I said the number I called he confirm the number, he continued to say I was wrong I never called arguing I should have never left the house for a minor inconvenience but he wouldn’t want to listen to it either he said I’m not throwing my money away because you left but seems after 5pm the phone is off I messaged another night in the evening no response yet he continued to say he always responded within mins and that is true during the day. Just know if you stay here and have a true concern or problem you may not get in contact and if you do he has a chance of saying you are in the wrong. We spend our last 2 nights we planned in this house in a hotel due to the what he calls minor inconvenience of chirping and randomly going off alarms. We found the Plymouth pool house in our Vrbo search and fell in love with the pics we saw, reality didn’t disappoint. Check in was easy, just a slight hiccup with door code that was resolved in seconds. Great communication with the property owner. It was the perfect size house for the 3 of us.We enjoyed a lot of family time in the pool and laying out in the sun in between our trips out and around to see what Plymouth had to offer. In the evening we watched a show or two on the projector tv. As well as enjoyed time lounging in the patio area. We even took walks around the area and drove over to the Redbrook Community, (that is about 5 mins away) and had wings and chicken piccata from Black Lantern Tavern and right next door at Sweet Grace & Co. we got ice cream. Our timing was good because they had a little festival going on with live music. The house is really in a great location that we were able to do an afternoon trip (about 30 min drive) to Kalmus Beach in Hyannis. We also did some shopping at the nearby outlets.Definitely not a shortage of places to eat. Lobster rolls at Cabby Shack, Pizza at Mamma Mia’s, Captains seafood broils at Rock Bottom Seafood, eggs benedict at The Blueberry Muffin.
