Out of four nights, I had no hot water for two. Fine the next morning every time, so it isn’t that anything was broken. They just ran out of hot water. There’s really no excuse for running out of hot water in a hotel. Clearly each unit doesn’t have its own heater, and that’s a problem that they badly need to fix. I ended up showering at a friend’s apartment, but it was still annoying.
The folks doing construction on the front door woke me up at 7:30 every morning with hammering and sawing. That was also really obnoxious, though at least that will probably be done in a few weeks, so it is a temporary problem.
Lack of basic things that other hotels provide (e.g. paper cups) also proved challenging. And I wish they had a microwave in the rooms. That would make the fridge a lot more useful.
All in all, it is a serviceable hotel, except for the whole cold shower thing.

Old,I reme.ber "Europe on 5$ a day " stairs, no in-room toilets or showers , people's neighborhood , no TV. Etc , but we liked it , clean and good bed .felt safe and want to never be in a cookie cutter .
FUNNY , our next room on our trip is quite gra d so we are more appreciative of it .
Not for anyone who can't carry their bags up flights of stairs .

8/10 Very good! (1,520 reviews)
"Staff was great and polite and the hotel was easy to get to but the hotel needed a lot of repairs, one of the elevators was out of service, there were stains on the floor, ceiling, and furniture in the room, and the shower could have used a more thorough cleaning. Walls are thin and you can easily ..."
