"Loved the location of this hotel. Beach is within a couple minutes walk, also there are some great restaurants and coffee nearby. It’s also really close to the tunnel to walk into the city center. The staff were very kind and helpful as well."

"We were travelling with a dog and had the pet suite. It was very spacious with a huge long balcony. Very comfortable beds, good shower, excellent breakfast. Staff were also excellent. Only minor things were no fridge in the room and no coffee/kettle in the room. The price for a single night at approx GBP 340 was also very expensive. It was by far the most expensive hotel in a 2-week trip staying at numerous different places across 10 countries."

"The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day."

"WE didnt spend much time in the hotel as we just used it as a base for our rugby trip in Bilboa. Spent very little time at the hotel .we just had breakfast and spent all day and night exploring Santander. The breakfast was a cold buffet .help yourself which was nice and a lovely garden to sit in at the back of the hotel. It was only a ten minute walk down into the town and escalaters to help you back up the hill if you needed it. There was a bar in the hotel ,we didnt use it as we got back around midnight on our 2 night stay. I would definetely recommend it as it was clean ,spacious and good value for money and a lovely view of the garden and mountains from our room."

"The bedrooms were larger than I expected. Kitchen had good selection of pots and pans for cooking. It is close to 2 bus stops that made getting around town very easy. Host was accommodating and easy to work with. "
