"Great stay and fantastic support with questions we had and anything we needed. Convenient location fairly close to Porto Jiménez and very private; also right across the road from an animal rehabilitation center which provides tours by incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. Lots of monkeys, tropical birds, frogs, lizards, and two friendly dogs on the property. The pool was a lovely bonus, especially in the evening while cooling off. Arturo helped us with arrangements and a guide for a tour of part of Corcovado; recommend the sea taxi trip from Porto Jiménez to the beach entrance at Corcovado - - it’s an adventure, and no dock on the Corcovado end, so it’s a walk in the surf and up to the beach upon arrival!"

"Everything about Drake Bay Getaway was excellent. The view from the room was stunning. The room itself was perfect with a balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The restaurants food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. I would stay here again and again. I liked it so much I extended my stay."

"Beautiful boutique lodge at remote rainforest location. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Location at a hill allowed for beautiful views and birdwatching, with a pair of Scarlet Macaws breeding in a tree right on the property. Access for the last 2 miles after the airstrip requires SUV, but lodge also offers convenient airport pickup from Puerto Jimenez."

"Lovely staff, great food, as others have said it's very rustic which depends on your point of view how you take that. I loved it however, both ATV transfers we asked for didn't materialise which, esp for the route back, was mildly annoying. Being in the room whilst it was raining cats and dogs during the night was incredible"

"The place was clean and well-maintained. There were even fresh cut flowers for us on the tables. The location is wonderful and there are many opportunities for viewing/photographing birds and wildlife. The place is named appropriately, as soon as it gets dark the frogs burst into song. A special thanks to Kathrin and Sebastian, the caretakers, for their recommendations on places to see, refferals for guides etc. My wife and I had a wonderful stay (though it wasn’t nearly long enough), and if we ever return to the area we will surely like to stay here again."
