"The house was Amazing! Beautiful view from every balcony. At first we thought it would be to warm with no A.C in the living room, kitchen area but we were wrong. It was very refreshing when we had the patio doors open. And the swiming pool is clean. There are floating tubes and noodles avaliable. We also saw parrots and a few flamingos in the early morning. And the house has a fully equipped kitchen. However, the groceries are much higher than any other island I've visited. The best thing for us was to eat out in the local restaurants. The food was fantastic.The cost was less or the same as buying groceries. Maybe the California grocery store was just over priced. And it does take about thirty minutes to get to Willemstad but worth the drive. But stores there close by 6pm during the weekdays. And many are closed on Sunday or close by 2pm. All around, we had a great time. We rented cars and went to different beaches on the west side. Which was not to far from where we stayed. They say the best beaches are on this side of the island. I definitely have to agree! Thanks to our host for renting out their beautiful home. "

"Our stay at Dushi Vida was excellent! Everything from the room, pool, and service was outstanding. Great location for “best” beaches on the North side of island. 15-20 minutes to most beaches. Williamstead is about 35 minutes. Breakfast every morning was a plus, very accommodating to time/choices. Pool very clean. Gated condos and very safe. Overall 10/10! We will be back."

"We enjoyed our stay here! Location is convenient for drives to island beaches as well as mini markets and restaurants. Snorkeling right behind property is great. Wonderful views from the house's multiple terraces. Stove and oven are modern and impressive appliances; thankfully the user manuals included English instructions. I would stay here again!"

"First off, this place was beautiful with probably the best snorkeling on the island. But there are some things people need to know before staying here. Read the fine print and find out if they are going to charge any for electricity. If they are allowing 15kw per ac unit per day, that allows you 60kw per day. Realistically, in a weeks time, if you only run the bedroom units at night when youre sleeping and only run the living room ac for an hour or 2 per day when youre hanging out at the vrbo, youll probably spend anywhere from $0 to $50 extra per week. When we were there the timer on the dryer was broken and we didnt realize it. One day it ran about 5 hours while we were out snorkeling and didnt realize it wouldnt turn off. In that 5 hours it used around 20kwhs. So make sure to pay attention to that. Pay attention to the overflow on the septic tank. If it starts to spill over you need to immediately let the property manager know because it could be days before a vacuum truck can get there,and youll be smelling poo until they do. Id venture to guess its like this for most houses on the island, so you might run into that on any vrbo here. The property manager was awesome and the place was gorgeous. Wed definitely stay here again but just wanted to let everybody know of what they need to be aware of when staying here. "
