Does that name fit this home! Walls of windows give you views of the Pacific Ocean and the gorgeous Costa Rican sunsets. Enjoy super-fast internet speeds in this uniquely designed home. There are 3 bedrooms on the upper level, all with en-suite bathrooms and ocean views. The primary bedroom has a private balcony plus and newly updated bathroom with a bathtub and shower plus plenty of storage in the large walk-in closet. The main staircase descends to the lower level and showcases the pool and the Pacific Ocean through soaring 2-story windows. The lower level is where you'll find the 4 bedroom (also with an en-suite bathroom) along with the open concept living, dining, and kitchen. The main living area has a comfortable living space with flat-screen Smart TV plus local cable channels. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, real-wood cabinetry, updated appliances, and all of the kitchen amenities you need to whip up a great vacation meal. You can also take advantage of the outdoor kitchen with a gas grill. Or let us connect with a local chef and leave the cooking to someone else ... you're on vacation after all! This house was perfect. Only draw back was it was on a very steep hill. If renting car, definitely rent a 4 wheel drive. Very steep. But worth the drive and able to do with 4 wheel drive vehicle. We loved this house and the management team, especially Kerri was great to work with and helped us with many things including transportation and excursions for group who never visited Costa Rica before. The views from all the windows were stunning. We enjoyed getting up every day and having coffee by the pool and looking out over the water.What a perfect way to start each day.The location is great for access to the town Coco and Hermosa Beach.Great restaurants!The services we utilized that were provided by the management group were so nice. We ordered groceries to be delivered to the home before we arrived. It saved us a trip to the store that first day.We also had Chef Aron come one night to prepare a meal. The food was amazing, and he has a very comfortable personality that made it nice while we enjoyed the food. We wish we had him come cook more than just once.I would go back to this beautiful home again when we visit Costa Rica. ##### Jennifer H. The homes proximity to Playa Hermosa is great and it’s a great beach. The homes configuration is exceptional for two couples and two are sized nicely. Our mattress and linens were great. The other couple said there bed was squeaky but comfortable. There were only a couple of live bugs over the ten days we were there. That seems exceptional. The kitchen is spacious. The grill area is useful and attractive. The home overlooks playa Hermosa. They provided lots of laundry detergent. There were plenty of towels. The beach chairs were great and it was nice having them available. The internet was fast. The bad- road noise is constant and takes away from the tranquility we expected while relaxing by the pool. The noise is truly terrible. The home was dirty and had not been cleaned well before we arrived. The pool was cloudy and unkept for three out of ten days we were there. The pots and pans were cheap. The driveway is severely sloped and makes coming and going frightening for two of our guests. One of the lounge chairs by the pool was broken. Rich Coast Vacations were responsive and helpful. I would rent from them again. The drive to the house might give some anxiety. Our initial drive to the house was a bit nerve wrecking. However it did seem easier each time. Definitely make sure you have 4 wheel drive. We had 2 all wheel drive vehicles that had a bit of a hard time getting up the steep drive and then backing into the car port. The house fit 8 people very well. The bedrooms are very nice sizes and the air conditioners in each room upstairs worked great. My only suggestion would be to maybe install a wall unit in the downstairs bedroom as it was a bit warm. The outdoor areas are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed so much of our time in the infinity pool. While you are in the pool the views are spectacular. You see so many butterflies and beautiful birds as well. We did have a very large iguana who came to visit daily as well. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had everything we needed. My only small complaints were that the bathrooms and the kitchen were a bit dirty. Not sure if it was because it hadn’t been occupied for a little while. The house had more than enough room for our family of four. It was clean, spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool area. Yes, the road in/out is steep, but you get used to it. We had an AWD car and never ran into an issue. Being on a hill is how you get the great view. Rich Coast Vacations was very responsive to all our questions/needs and even helped us coordinate a private fishing trip and private ATV tour. The home was spacious enough for all seven of us, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy time together. The pool and view were straight out of a dream—and waking up to butterflies and a view from the bedroom (and even the showers!) was something we’ll never forget. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch, and we even grilled one night for dinner. We spent our evenings enjoying the sunset and having game nights—some of our favorite memories from the trip. Every little detail made our stay special, but what stood out most was the warmth of the people—we felt so welcomed everywhere we went. An unforgettable trip and the perfect family getaway. It did not disappoint!! The views are jaw-dropping from the moment you walk in the door and look through the two-story glass stairwell straight out to the Pacific. Huge glass windows also run all along the back of the house so that you can constantly see the beauty of the ocean and canopy of trees (butterflies and birds everywhere!). But it’s not just the view that makes the house so great. It had everything we needed and more. Comfortable seating in the living room, two dining areas (indoor and out), outdoor seating, dishes and cutlery, pots and pans. Then we hit a gold mine when we checked the closet under the stairs and found snorkel goggles, boogie boards and fishing rods! En-suite bathrooms in each bedroom, an outdoor shower and that infinity pool were icing on the cake. Note: get a 4WD car! You’ll need it for this gated neighborhood and driveway as it’s built on a steep hill (reason for those views). Also you need to be ok with taking a lot of stairs. Not an issue for us but might be for others (flight down when you walk in and another flight up for bedrooms) We loved Hermos: smaller and less crowded than Coco (although neither was what we’d call busy). Beach is less than 5 min away. Mini grocery store less than 5 min and a large one is 10 min away. Great restaurants just a few min away along the beach.
