Garage game room was perfect to both store our car top and tubes and enjoy some competition in the evenings. Close to everything as well. Highly recommend this home."

"This motel is close to sleeping bear dunes and reasonably priced for the area. We are a family of 5 and struggle to find rooms that accommodate all of us without having to book two rooms. Honor Motel had rooms with 3 double beds. It was quiet and clean. Air conditioned and a dehumidifier running kept it cool and comfortable. Kate was super friendly and made check in really easy for us! We highly recommend this place! "

"This was the best VRBO property we've stayed in by FAR. Colette was an excellent host, and very accommodating when our arrival schedule changed. The house had everything we needed for a week up north - all we had to bring were our clothes! The house was very clean with plenty of space for our family of four (including two tweens). My husband and I had to work one morning and had no problems with internet connection. The location is perfect for exploring the area, although we also enjoyed staying at the house and playing on Little Platte Lake with the kayaks and SUPs. Colette's recommendations for things to do and places to go were top notch - we tried many of them! We look forward to staying again."

"Rae’s Retreat is a treasure. Perfect location for those one team to be able to swim in Lake Michigan visit Frankfurt to visit Leland and sleeping bear dunes. Little Platte lake is so peaceful.The cabin was also wonderful very clean and had all the supplies we needed."

"We always travel to Michigan from Minnesota in a large group to visit extended family annually. We typically book a VRBO near the Frankfort area but also have family in Lake Ann so figured we would change it up this year. Maggie & Sam Hanes' property on Pearl Lake is perfect for those looking for large-group accomodations. The hosts promptly replied to all email communications and were reasonable in their property rules and expectations. It was awesome to have such a great view and a lot of privacy with no issues parking. The location is great for enjoying Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan beaches. Also, the lake is beautiful but is more of a fishing lake or a lake to enjoy nature rather than a swimming lake. Be wary of swimmer's itch! Small cars may have difficulty getting down the road to the property, especially in the winter. Also, there is little to no cell phone coverage at the property, and we did not have access to wifi during our stay. "
