Arrived at this hotel and was immediately given a very warm welcome. We were travelling with our ten month old son and the staff had independently picked up on this (despite us not requesting any additional assistance or special requests etc) and they had prepared a beautiful cot for him with lovely bedding and were very thoughtful in including a bottle warmer and kettle in the room. We thought that they had shown particular attention to detail in trying to make a comfortable stay. The villa is...

Geat place in the champagne region with fabulous food. Very romantic and well worth a visit.

A very nice fairly basic hotel elevated by great staff and the restaurant which offers delicious local food and a great service. We will happily go again.

We have been going to Valarie's for years. Fornusnit is an ideal spot on the way to the channel tunnel, close to champagne houses and she does a meal so that there's no need to drive to find something after the long drive to get there. Always an excellent place to stay

Very good as a stop over

An exquisite hotel taking full advantage of its 15th century historical foundations- quiet but located close to the action - restaurants, bars and all the cultural centres. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. An absolute joy all round. Only criticism (not mentioned at the time) was the bathroom didn’t have a proper shower or curtain- a walk in shower would have been wonderful (but we appreciate the constraints of a medieval building). Thoroughly recommended!

Great service from all the staff.

EV chargers out of order, yet their was a car charging which I think belonged to the staff. Meant my car was almost flat in the morning as I specifically booked this hotel as it was advertised having EV chargers.

Very well located to enjoy the historic centre of Troyes. Parking, although not adjacent, is private, indoor & secure and only 2 minutes walk - just have to use drop space by hotel entrance to offload luggage if you don’t want to carry. No restaurant but in house room service ready meal delivery adequate for a late night necessity - but otherwise fantastic location for excellent restaurants (many open late) and takeaways in neighbouring square & streets off. Breakfast limited for hot food but...

Great location in centre of town, very nice rooms, bathroom was great.

Well located with secure parking, great rooms with good design, filtered water on tap, brilliant breakfast, very helpful staff.

Beautiful historic building, fantastic experience. Wonderful bedroom. Hope to go back some time.

Clean and tidy. Clean and comfy beds. Shops close by. Friendly staff

No reception found our rooms and assumed they were ours. Simple accommodation but suited our circumstances excellently. Suzanne becoming a run down town. One very good pizza restaurant and a cafe closed 2130 on a day France was playing in the euros???
