After island hopping in Greece for 2 weeks, Plakias (in Crete) remains to be my favorite spot by far. The views are some of the best in Greece. There are very few tourists which allows for a very authentic Greek experience when you visit Plakias. #blue #endlesssummer
If you stay at the Youth Hostel in Plakias, the manager will share with you ideas for different hikes. This one was the River Walk, where you hike along the water to see waterfalls, pools, and at the end, this "magic" bridge.

Staff was great we enjoyed the food I think the main draw back was it’s a very popular spot on hot days and there isn’t designated parking for people staying at the resort, so sometimes when we would come back it was really hard to find a parking spot

Perfect location to explore local beaches
Outside space of the villa was perfect to sit in shade in peak afternoon heat or sit by the pool. Villa was kept very clean by very friendly staff. More cooking equipment (more saucepans, crockery, another sharp knife) would be good. Sound travels very much from villas 8-9. We had very noisy families ...
