"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July. We were shown to our bedroom at the end of a corridor. After the door there are 2 steps up to the accommodation level but no further door beyond these steps. During the night my wife woke up to go to the bathroom. As there was no lighting, and she was in an unfamiliar environment, she mistook the space above the steps to be the entrance to the bathroom. "This was the best place we stayed in during the 5 weeks as the staff owners are helpful and friendly and it is great value - we were there 4 days - the parking is off site but free in the city - great central location for the region - good breakfasts - there is a roof top patio but it was too cold and windy when we were there but it would be good in the summer - convenient in the city - hosts had good recommendations for restaurants- and had a really excellent meal in the town 10 minutes from hotel"
