MAGNIFICENT NEW VILLA CLOSE BEACH WITH HEATED SWIMMING POOL

"Good communication with the host prior to the holiday and upon check in, answered all questions promptly.The property is in a lovely location for easy access to Etel and the beaches,with easy cycling from right opposite the property. The outside space and the lovely pool were great, though the seating around the pool was old and a couple of the sunbeds were broken which was a shame. We did raise this to the host and he stated ‘yes I know’ but did not offer replacements.The downstairs open plan space was great for kids and adults and the kitchen well equipped. It was a shame the large fridge was broken during our stay.Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property was variable. When we pulled out the high chair it was covered in pet fur and we found clumps of pet fur all around the property. Behind beds and larger furniture had not been cleaned and the carpets in 2 of the bedrooms had a strong unpleasant odour, maybe petsThe bedrooms each have their own ‘theme’ but they are all a bit tired and could do with some modernisation.It’s worth noting that although the property is advertised as 3 showers and 3 toilets, only 1 room (downstairs) is en-suite. The 5 rooms upstairs share one toilet and bathroom and the other facilities are downstairs in the utility room area. All toilets are in rooms without windows and minimal ventilation. Overall, we as 3 families had a great week in this house in Etel, but for what we paid, we were disappointed with some aspects of the property."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos deux semaines dans la maison. Nous avons apprécié prendre les repas en extérieur. La cuisine est bien équipée avec un lave-vaisselle et un lave linge de qualité. Beaucoup d’ustensiles à disposition. La literie était bien également. Un bémol sur la canapé et les fauteuils du salon qui étaient un peu inconfortables. De même l’insonorisation entre le rdc et l’étage est mauvaise. La communication avec les propriétaires est très bonne et ils sont disponibles si nécessaire. Proximité immédiate d’un grand Super U et d’un magasin bio. Le village de saint Cado est accessible à pieds par un petit chemin bucolique , avec un restaurant sympa Madame Mouette et des fest noz organisées l’été où des habitants de la région viennent se mêler aux touristes. Belz est bien situé pour explorer Quimper, Pont Aven, Auray, la Gacilly, Carnac, Concarneau etc à condition bien sûr d’avoir une voiture."

"The house was a bit dated but was ideal for the 13 of us who stayed for the week. Ideal for location & going to other places. Overall a very good place to stay for those who like the beeches, cycling, water sports & just relaxing. The scenery was beautiful."
