"I had a fantastic mini vacay at La Quinta in Santa Clarita, CA, and it easily earns a 5 out of 5 stars. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out as friendly, welcoming, and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely helpful and courteous. What really impressed me most was how calm and quiet the hotel was. It made for a very relaxing stay perfect for resting, working, or just unwinding after a long day. The atmosphere felt safe, well-managed, and respectful of guests’ comfort. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with everything you’d expect for a quality stay. The common areas were also clean and orderly, and the overall property felt well cared for. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shopping, dining, and major roads, yet the hotel still maintains a peaceful environment, something that’s hard to find. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, cleanliness, professionalism, and a quiet atmosphere, this La Quinta is an excellent choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"We have stayed at Duane's condo many times now to visit family. Each time, we are impressed with our stay from the cleanliness of the unit to the ease of communication with Duane! We highly recommend Duane's condo if you are ever in SCV. The location is quiet and the garage is a definite plus. It is also a quick hop and a skip to LA. "

"Positives first: The location was perfect for our needs- shopping, dining, interstate, daughter's college- all 5-10 min away or less. View of the valley was beautiful from backyard (unless you got too close to the back fence where you could see trash thrown on the back portion of property). There were plenty of utensils and dinnerware for our party of 8. Large dining table that could comfortably seat 10.The rest of the stay was awful. When we arrived there was one half roll of toilet paper, no paper towel. The sun beats down on all the windows in the afternoon since the backyard faces west, so we turned the air down and black dust blew out of the vents. Part of the ceiling is falling in the guest bedroom downstairs, there is mold growing from waterspot in the downstairs bathroom, hair on the sheets in master bedroom, front patio off master bedroom is unsafe with NO warning for young kids that could fall through the railing, we saw lots of bugs inside the house, the drain cover is broken in the hot tub (good thing my husband was in with the kids and noticed it before someone got injured by the jagged plastic), the microwave didn’t work, and the TV had large strips of shadow running through it's projection. There is not enough furniture or seating in the living room to accommodate the number of people listed."
