Waterfront tranquility: 3 Iguanas Villa- 1st floor Hibiscus Suite w rooftop pool

  • The magnificent waterfront 3 Iguanas Villa is located in the most tranquil area of Placencia Village - located on a private canal of Placencia Lagoon and just 300 yards from the beach. The villa is upscale and loaded with special features exuding casual luxury - a turret with the 3 iguanas mural as you enter, many varieties of tropical trees and plants, ceramic tile and tropical hardwoods throughout, lots of comfortable lounge chairs, custom-designed upscale bathrooms, AC, marvellous mattresses, combination safes and kitchen/kitchenettes in each suite, a private dock on the water and to top it off – a roof-top terrace and plunge pool!

    Completed in 2016, our 1st (ground) floor "Hibiscus Suite" boasts a full kitchen - full size fridge/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine etc, in addition to AC, a safety deposit box and a small television. Also provided: hair-dryer, umbrella, bathrobes, bath and beach towels.

    This suite has a studio layout and has one queen size bed, a sofa-bed suitable for a young child and a separate bathroom with shower. Body wash and shampoo are provided.

    Prices vary throughout the year: High Season (December to June): $125. Low Season (July to November) $100. A peak rate applies for 2 weeks over Christmas. There is an additional 9% hotel tax and 3% service fee.

Just Right

The host, Annalise was very warm and welcoming. Great location. There is a restaurant/bar next door with live music and great food. Although there is a restaurant, there is still plenty of peace and tranquility. The timing of the noise is just right. The size of the unit works - not too big, not too small. I like the touch of the bathrobes, not everyone in Belize provides them, but they should. It's so convenient for the climate when transitioning between showering and dressing.

Amazing stay with the absolute most wonderful hosts! There is not one thing we could point out that was bad. Annelise and Doyle are the best. Accommodations were great! Location is perfect. Very quiet and safe. Having a golf cart there was perfect to get us around anywhere we wanted to go. The entire set up at 3 Iguanas is exceptional. We loved the resident cats that were always around and were very receptive to us petting them. Annelise always provided us with anything we needed that we may not have brought. Doyle makes the best food in the village. Smoked brisket, fresh grilled lobster and fish, coconut rice, and grilled veggies. We loved just hanging out with the hosts in the evening and enjoying a cold beer. They are very down to earth and so easy to relate to. I could go on and on... let's just say we will be back with our friends next time. Can't wait!

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed. It was our first time to Belieze and the host was super friendly and helpful. Great location too. Quiet and secluded, but within easy walking or bike riding distance to everything. OH, and the roof top pool is the best! So beautiful. When I go back, this is the only place I would consider staying.

Annalise and Doyle were excellent host. They also owned DTOURZ tours. We did a birding tour with Doyle , 2 driving trips and a Monkey River village tour. The guides were excellent.There house is on a quiet lagoon with a palm thatched roof room looking out on the lagoon. Great place for getting out of the sun and relaxing.Nightly live music that ended at 9pm at their wonderful outdoor restaurant next store called Doyle’s Smoke Yaad.I will come back.
