Right off the Placencia sidewalk, within walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, and the sea. Note that the photo of the palm tree and sea looking out the sliding glass door is FAKE. There is NO sea view from any of the apartments in this complex. The view out of the sliding glass door is a house maybe 20 feet away. It was a big disappointment since we expected a sea view. The location was excellent - walking distance to all that the village of Placencia has to offer and super close to the northern end of the sidewalk. I received confirmation on the booking. I sent one more message to the manager of the booking and did not receive a reply. About 2 weeks prior to our vacation, I sent a message asking about transportation from Placencia Airport to the location, which they kindly set up for us but he made no mention of the fact he did not have the 3 bedroom/2 bath. We arrived at the complex and checked in. When we got to our apartment it was a 1 bedroom/1 bath with a pack and play. I have a teenager, not a baby, and was never asked it these accommodations would be acceptable. I was told that they had tried to give us the accommodations that we had booked, but it wasn't available and that I could stay in the 1 bedroom or they would refund my money. I was not able to find what we were looking for until the next day, so we stayed one night and were refunded all but one night of our trip even though it was not the apartment that we booked. The 1 bedroom had one set of towels and no sheets for the pull out bed. The cabinet doors were falling off in the bathroom. All I can say was the bed was comfortable. So to sum this up, the manager knew he did not have the accommodations that we booked all along. They baited us there thinking we would just stay because we were stuck and had no where else to go. I would never recommend this place and I recommend if you have a reservation, cancel it and run away as fast as you can. ##### Tara S. We stayed at the KhalKob Estate 3 bedroom apartment. It met our needs for the week. The moment we walked into the apartment you can see and smell the cleanliness of the unit. That by far exceeded my expectations. That’s the most important factor when renting for me. The air conditioning units helped keep the entire apartment cool. The beds are firm but comfortable. Location was great, near several grocery stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental. ##### Judy C.
