About this property
Middle Pond Cabin- Direct ATV & Snowmobile Access
Welcome to the Middle Pond Cabin! This cozy, waterfront cabin is centrally located to all of Pittsburg's amenities. It has direct access to the Great North Woods' vast snowmobile and ATV trails. Middle Pond is an 8 acre, stocked pond that is loaded with trout and other wildlife that call it home.
The cabin has three bedrooms (all with queen size beds), a fantastic kitchen, and a beautiful living room / sun room. The cabin also has a back-up Generac generator for the occasional winter storm!
Other things to note:
By far, the most frequently asked question we get is: "Does your cabin REALLY have direct trail access?" The answer to this is YES! Simply walk out the door, hop on your rig, and head on out. You will be directly on the trail system upon pulling down our driveway. For a reference point, we are located on Moose Pond Road halfway between Back Lake Road and Trail # 146.
Although there are multiple places in the Pittsburg area where you can rent boats, we do have a row boat, a canoe, and a paddle boat at the cabin that we allow our guests to use.

Great clean cottage! Everything we needed for some rest, relaxation, privacy and fun! The cottage is located directly on the ATV trail system. It’s secluded, setting on a pond and still close to town and restaurants.
Definitely recommend!
The place is amazing and tranquil . Easy trail access . Spent alot of time at outdoor firepit and front enclosed porch watching the ducks on the pond and a daily blue heron was great
My family and I frequent Pittsburg NH , every year for our annual fishing weekend. This location was exactly what it indicated. It was. Private, remote, quiet and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to do it again next year.
The place was fantastic! Beautifully placed, clean, cozy, comfortable and relaxing. The only issue that we had was the tap water smelled like bad eggs. I would recommend coming.
Beautiful home with a great view of the pond. Very quiet and super convenient being right on the trails. The porch is amazing and incredibly peaceful just hearing nature sounds in the background. Definitely would recommend.
Great place, right on the water. Beavers were active; bald eagle came in the morning.

Thanksgiving stay
We stayed here to be able to prepare the food for Thanksgiving & then transported it to our camp.
Everything went great but we could have used more towels & wash cloths.
A lovely, clean cabin in a quiet and tranquil location. There is only one other cabin on Middle Pond so it's very private. We really enjoyed using the canoe, drinking coffee in the morning while taking in the stunning view of the pond, and returning from the day's sightseeing to just relax. Highly recommend this wonderful place!
First, it was double booked!! Other people showed up with a dog! The pond was beautiful, quiet & serene & the screen room had an excellent view. The bed downstairs was okay. We didn't use the upstairs except for the half bath. It was clean throughout the inside, but the outside was unkept with no seating, dirty grill & needing mowing/weed eating.Nothing inside was as pictured. There were two uncomfortable futons in the living room. No lamps, coffee table, side tables (or any place to set a drink or anything), no recliners or soft chairs. No instructions for operating the TV. Only bright ceiling lights with fans that could not operate separately to have fan but not bright light. The screen room had no side tables, lamps or comfortable seating. The kitchen was sparce and disappointing. The skillets were non stick with the coating all scratched & unsafe to use, no covered containers, foil, plastic wrap, spices, used sponge, dish brush and scrubby, dirty dish drain mat, watered down Dawn, stained & very cut up cutting boards that were unusable (we bought one that we left there for future guests), one roll of paper towels. There was no communication that the correct oars, life jackets, "home gym" yoga mat, hand weights & pull up bar were all in a shed where we were told to take our trash at the end, so hadn't even opened. If we been prepared for limited comforts by an accurate description & host communication, the review would be be better because the setting is perfect!
